We are looking for a strategic and result-oriented growth leader, with a passion to innovate and improve access to high quality healthcare for Canadians, to join the Canada Leadership Team as Director of Health System Partnerships. This role is responsible for initiating, cultivating and executing on strategic growth opportunities in the Hospitals and Health Systems (HHS) division of Teladoc Health Canada. Success in your role will be measured by your ability to meet revenue targets and overall expansion of our market presence across Canada.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HHS commercial business, inclusive of leading a team of business development and client management professionals. You will liaise with appropriate provincial, territorial, and federal government agencies, health authorities, healthcare delivery organizations and provider groups in the West/East region to secure adoption and implementation of Teladoc Health’s virtual care suite of services and tools.
Role and Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic growth plans for positioning and expanding Teladoc’s suite of products and services in Canada by fostering creative partnerships with provincial, territorial and federal governments, health authorities, and other hospital and health system executives

Strengthen Teladoc Health brand as a leader in virtual care and trust advisor to the public healthcare system

Grow pipeline and manage existing and future opportunities throughout the cycle from prospect, to discovery to proposals, contracting

Facilitate executive conversations to identify partnership opportunities with Teladoc Health that yield to growth

Coordinate projects pre and post sell with several groups within Teladoc leaders, to advance opportunities and set up for successful launch

Monitor and report on all sales activities, revenue and pipeline to meet revenue targets

Recruit, manage, inspire and coach a team of business development and client management professionals

Travel, as needed, for in-person meetings, conferences, demos and partnership workshop sessions

Define and improve partnership and sales processes and operating model

Monitor competitive activity, trends, and report on all sales activities / potential for each prospect

While this role has national scope, the ideal candidate is located in British Columbia or Alberta, is willing to travel 20-50% of the time within the Western provinces with occasional travel to Eastern provinces

Skill Requirements/Preferences

In addition, the incumbent will provide technical support and design input during the procurement specification and tender phase of new orders; be responsible for the technical review of design submissions and responses to the RFIs; assist with the tracking and monitoring of vehicle quality issues during the vehicle procurement and maintenance phases; assist with investigations, root cause analysis, and technical reporting writing; assist with investigations in relation to systems operations and interrelated track and signal infrastructure issues; complete root cause analyses for system or sub-system failures/issues; manage the development and delivery of vehicle lifecycle & safety programs; and provide support to Transit Operations during major operational events.
The incumbent will also participate on technical committees and lead project teams to provide engineering expertise to discuss and resolve issues on projects internal and external to the department that may impact the operational requirements of the Transit Services Department
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Four (4) year Bachelor of Applied Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
Seven (7) years experience in rail vehicle fleet engineering, maintenance and operation, testing and commissioning, overhaul planning, life cycle planning, and reliability improvement programs for new and existing fleets and experience transit and rail control/power control systems, railway integrated control systems and systems integration
Knowledge of rail systems including track, power systems, and signaling systems would be an asset

Duties & Responsibilities
- Reviews work orders, carries out repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles and equipment.
- Inspects vehicles and equipment, including road tests where necessary, and tests various systems and components to determine specific problems.
- Adjusts, repairs and replaces parts and components of vehicles and equipment using hand tools and other specialized equipment.
- Tests and adjusts repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications.
- Performs a variety of preventative maintenance and safety inspections, such as SGI inspections, to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience Requirements:
- Grade 12 education.
- Possession of a valid provincial or inter-provincial Journeyperson designation in Automotive, Truck and Transport, or Heavy Duty mechanics. Possession of a recognized Apprenticeship Certificate is preferred.
- Five years of Journeyperson experience with vehicles, large equipment and heavy-duty truck repairs.
- Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 3A Driver's Licence.
- Current driver’s abstract from SGI demonstrating a safe driving record.
- Possession of WHMIS training certificate, training provided upon hire.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
