Molson Coors is currently seeking a Administrative Clerk to join our team, based in our Toronto Brewery. Reporting to the Senior Administrative Assistant, the Administrative Clerk will support and ensure administrative tasks and information flow are completed accurately and in an effective and efficient manner for our Packaging, Maintenance, Warehouse, Brewing and Engineering Departments.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for various administrative tasks for departments
- Responsible for documenting and ensuring departmental invoicing and purchase orders are maintained
- Ensure Maintenance and Warehouse Overtime Equalization reports are completed in accordance to Department Guidelines
- Canvass maintenance employees for overtime to complete scheduling commitments while ensuring overtime guidelines are adhered to
- Maintain vacation schedules, lieu day requests, and LOA’s for Local 325 and Local 772
- Administer daily timesheet adjusting entries for department’s hourly employees in accordance to the Collective Agreement rules
- Prepare weekend overtime schedules for departments
- Provide payroll reports and audits when requested by Finance/Human Resources
- Collect and distribute departments’ mail on a weekly basis
- Maintain department supplies including paper stock, forms and general office supplies
- Works closely with Leadership team and Union membership to achieve daily/weekly objectives
- Participate in various projects, initiatives or other duties as assigned
- Support team during vacation coverage
Experience:
- Community College Diploma or Equivalent
- knowledge of payroll and scheduling applications
- 3-5 years of administrative experience
- advanced knowledge of software applications including SAP, Microsoft Office and Excel
- Dayforce experience would be considered an asset

Key Accountabilities
- Analyze requirements and conduct assessments for new data solution requirements

- Research new technologies, data modeling methods, and information management systems to determine which ones should be incorporated into company data architectures, and develop implementation timelines and milestones
- Partner with Data Governance lead, Data Quality lead, Data Empowerment lead, and data stewards to ensure data availability, quality, and effective use.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as architect and engineering lead in Data & Analytics stream
- Experience with ETL technologies and processes
- In-depth understanding of data structure principles and data platforms
- Proficient with traditional, big data, and cloud platforms and other database modeling, management tools
- Hands-on expertise in SQL, at least one Programming Languages, databases, and big data platforms
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure specifically ADF, Databricks, Snowflake, Event Hubs, Storage Accounts, Key vaults, Synapse and or other equivalent Data Warehousing appliance)
- Experience in migrating data from on prem to cloud environment
- AWS Solution Architect or Azure Architect certification is an asset

Demonstrating your ability to exercise sound judgment and remain impartial, you will resolve employee and resident complaints of discrimination and harassment through the intake process by conducting various forms of alternative dispute resolution, through early intervention including coaching, negotiation, mediation and investigation. Undertaking research as well as keeping up to date on human rights trends, legislation and case law, you will support the development of resources and communications to support the organizations commitment and growth to enhancing human rights, equity, inclusion, and reconciliation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a subject matter expert to support City and Division human rights goals and initiatives by assisting in the development and implementation of human rights related policies and programming. You will use your human rights knowledge and supportive approach to provide consultative advice to all levels of City staff, elected officials and service recipients related to harassment, discrimination, accommodation, and inclusion.
Along with providing confidential, impartial advice and information on related policies, legislation, Acts, Agreements, etc., you will conduct human rights harassment and discrimination investigations, consistent with City policy, collective agreements and legislated obligations. This will see you interviewing parties, gathering evidence, conducting research, analyzing and preparing investigation reports determining findings, and making recommendations to resolve and remedy complaints.
What you will do:

Support the City's work in advancing human rights, accessibility, equity, and reconciliation

Provide expert advice to employees, managers, and residents on the City's human rights related policies and processes and accommodations.

Support the resolution of human rights related complaints (mediation, facilitation, early intervention, and investigations) and conduct complex human rights related investigations

Provide neutral advice on human rights related policies and programs to City staff and residents who use City services or facilities

Provide guidance on accommodation requests to residents, employees, and management staff

Work cross-functionally with other People and Equity staff to embed human rights

Develop resources, tools, and communications to support human rights related initiatives

Research and stay informed of trends, legislations, policies, strategies and tactics across other cities, levels of government and corporations to identify leading practices

Prepare and/or processes confidential information, records, reports, forms, presentations, guides and correspondence;

Provide effective, confidential, and impartial consultation/issue resolution services, interpretation and guidance to all levels of management, employees, and external organizations, requiring an integrated knowledge of human rights, equity, and interpretation of legislation, collective agreements, policies, programs and processes related to human rights, accessibility, and equity.
Key Qualifications:

Considerable experience in human rights within a major unionized public or private sector organization.

Demonstrated experience in alternative dispute resolution processes, and in undertaking harassment/discrimination investigations, drafting investigation reports, and recommending appropriate human rights interventions and remedies.

Knowledge and experience in applying relevant provisions of the Human Rights Code, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, collective agreements, human rights case law, and related legislation (e.g. Employment Standards Act)

Experience in researching, developing and implementing anti-racism, equity, diversity and human rights-related projects, policy and/or education is also a vital requirement of this role.

Highly developed communication, presentation and human relations skills with the ability to communicate persuasively and effectively at all organizational levels.
