PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The CPKC Police Service delivers police services to the CPKC network. Duties include emergency response, special events policing, risk reduction operations, investigation and enforcement of criminal acts, crime prevention and public safety programs. Candidates must live within 100km of Montreal. The first-class constable’s rate of pay for 2024 is 111K or 53.41 per hour. In 2025 it will increase to 115K.

General Repair Technician III is responsible for operating the facility including, but not limited to mechanical other supporting systems; performing structured inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, routine and on-demand services on facility mechanical equipment and other systems.
