About This Opportunity

The Security Manager is primarily responsible for the physical security of Coke Canada Bottling’s facilities, assets and employees, collective bargaining contingency planning, assisting Human Resources with investigations and the retrieval of company assets from customer and former customer locations. Located in Montreal and reporting to the Director, operations, the Security Manager works closely with business partners across the East Canada Operating Unit to provide guidance and recommendations regarding all aspects of security. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain security practices that ensure compliance with company, regulatory, legal and ethical policies and requirements;
  • Ensure effective execution of the physical security and protection programs, policies and practices, including the conduct of security audits;
  • Ensure all security equipment and systems are operating in accordance with operating procedures and escalate all problems/issues to management;
  • Lead consultations with internal and external stakeholders, to develop and implement strategic business plans to reduce risks / exposures related to physical security and protection;
  • Recommend and implements security solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business;
  • Liase with outside security consultants and security equipment providers in determining security needs and oversee project implementaions; 
  • Identify emerging security issues and trends to inform decision-making;
  • Review and sign-off on the security design for all significant security and building projects, monitor project completion relating to the designs, and performs final inspection for selected projects against the original security objectives;
  • Conduct thorough, unbiased and timely investigations, including review of CCTV;
  • Ensure proper procedures are followed to preserve evidence and maintain confidentiality;
  • Clearly communicate findings with all interested parties, produce clear summaries of actions taken and provide recommendations for further investigation;
  • Liaise with external investigative units as required in order to ensure a full investigation is conducted;
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group. Influence and negotiate to achieve business objectives;
  • Conducs independent analysis and assessment to resolve security issues;
  • Respond to and assists in the management of crisis situations.
  • Responds and provide support for urgent/emergency situations after normal business hours.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years experience in an investigative/analytical role either in law enforcement or another discipline that involves the investigation of casework and the assembly of information/ evidence to prove a case in court or justify a recommendation or other outcome;
  • Bilingual in spoken and written English and French;
  • Experience with implementation, operation and support of electronic access control and surveillance systems;
  • Strong knowledge of investigative practices, methods and enforcement strategies;
  • Familiar with the protocols for collecting, handling, and passing on evidence;
  • Experience in employee and labour relations;
  • Experience in contingency measures and procedures;
  • Experience in presenting or delivering presentations and training programs;
  • Administrative skills; proficiency with IT tools, Words, Excell, Outlook and ability to complete and create forms, reports, and logs;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments concurrently;
  • Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality;

Responsibilities

  • Perform Holistic Business Performance Analysis of the Sales Centres by conducting critical review of the Profit and Loss Account and provide detailed analytics on Revenue performance (Vol/Rate/Mix, Channel/Customer) and Opex (FS and PSS) management
  • Identify gaps in Revenue/GP on weekly basis and work with GM on the plans to grow or recover the lost Revenue/GP if any

  • Work with GM to identify business opportunities at the customer and Channel level, ensure validation of Financial justification provided and ensure all approvals in line with COA
  • Conduct post spend evaluation of all major commitments to the customers/DME, work on the alternative plans for any deviations and report the same to OU Management team
  • Ensure that the Financial Statements with the detailed analytics on actual performance, BP/RE are prepared and submitted to the OU Management team and HQ in line with the agreed timelines
  • Ensure compliance with Accounting Principles, Chart of Authority, Internal Control Guidelines. Work with the GMs, DCMs and other functional heads on the gaps identified during the self-assessment process or by the Internal Audit Team
  • Work closely with the General Managers, DCMs, DSMs within the Operating Unit and communicate with the Senior Leadeship Team (i.e., OUVPs, OU Fin Director, other Function leads) and will report the Financials to the HQ based Finance Team on Monthly basis.
  • Perform Holistic Business Performance Analysis of the Sales Centres by conducting critical review of the Profit and Loss Account and provide detailed analytics on Revenue performance (Vol/Rate/Mix, Channel/Customer) and Opex (FS and PSS) management and work with the GMs to deliver the Revenue and OI targets of the Sales Centres
  • Provide detailed analytics to the General Manager on the Performance of the sales Centres on Revenue/GP on weekly basis, give guidance to help take decisions by the GM to deliver the Revenue and OI targets, quantify the financial implication on opportunities /exposures and provide monthly analytics on the business performance on Revenue/Opex/OI.
  • Ensure that Plans are prepared in line with the Operating Unit priorities
  • Understand the dynamics of the locations, ensure self-assessment of the process and system compliance and provide innovative solutions to ensure robustness of the processes and systems

Qualifications

  • University degree
  • CPA /MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in a similar role preferably in mid-size /Large CPG distribution company
  • Strong Analytical Skills, Familiar with the Accounting Policies and practices, Hands on with ERP and MS Office
  • Strong Commercial Acumen to take quick decisions, assertiveness to challenge the internal stakeholders and provide solutions
  • Ability to travel 10-15%

About This Opportunity

As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician at one of Coke Canada's production facilities, this role is essential to maintaining the proper functioning of crucial equipment on a daily basis. This role is responsible for electrical repairs, preventative maintenance and proper waste disposal. Effective communication with supervisors and colleagues across all functions is essential, in addition to adhering to Coke Canada safety policies and guidelines.
 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for electrical repairs and preventative maintenance on all production equipment/machinery.
  • Provide preventive maintenance and repairs when servicing programmable logic control (PLC) based control systems.
  • Maintain and repair compressed air, low pressure steam and ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • Maintain contact with supervisor and colleagues to report progress.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedural guidelines.
  • Remain informed and trained on all technical advancements in area of responsibility.
  • Respond to and complete service calls efficiently.
  • Use proper waste disposal procedures.
  • Help and support the department in achieving and maintaining budgetary objectives.
  • Keep an accurate log of all parts used and help maintain inventory.
  • Support and assist mechanics by providing expertise in electrical equipment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 to 5 years of electrical maintenance experience required, with continuing education (CE) permit strongly encouraged. 
  • Production experience in a bottling company highly recommended. 
  • Ability to read and use schematics when repairing equipment.
  • Proficiency with Allen Bradley programmable controllers and electro-camera controllers.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining programmable logic controllers (PLC) and signal line circuits (SLC) as well as 24 volt and 110 volt control systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with electrical and pneumatic transducers and hydraulic systems/controls.
  • Previous experience with steam/compressed air and ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work requests and schedules.
  • Strong computer systems skills and ability to use software applications.
