As a Terminal Manager, you are responsible to safely lead the terminal team to meet stakeholder expectations with respect to service, quality and productivity. You are responsible for managing operational costs while operating within a network.  This position is about driving change, developing and engaging teams and continuous improvement.

How You’ll Help:

• Empower and lead team to meet organizational objectives.   
• Develop KPI’s to drive service, quality and safety
• Ensuring supervisors improve safety results by leading regular safety blitzes and safety walkabouts, and developing a culture of peer-to-peer safety interaction
• Interact with other Operations departments and supervisory teams at other Terminals to enable on-time service and quality
• Successfully manage multiple issues with competing priorities simultaneously
• Manage budget and workforce productivity
• Prioritize and manage customer shipments to maximize profit
• Develop Supervisors and employees through evaluation of their performance, providing pinpointed feedback and subsequently providing coaching and guidance
   

Your Skills & Experience: 

• Minimum of secondary education, with preference of post-secondary education.
• 5-8 years of experience leading teams, developing talent and managing culture and performance 
• Ideal to have leadership experience in transportation or operations as well as various roles in transportation 
• Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, including the ability to effectively get things done through others, lead by example, coach, and support staff and other leaders
• Strong conflict resolution skills and leadership
• Results driven 
• A strong sense of customer service and urgency, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Computer skills including the Microsoft Suite and preferably, Truck Mate 
• The ability to lead and reinforce a strong culture of workplace safety

Minimum Requirements:

• Preference to those with a 3rd class power engineering ticket.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of people, equipment, and the environment and that plant policies are adhered to
• Learn all operating units within the assigned area of the facility and progress in increasing levels of responsibility at the site
• Perform plant operation duties for smooth and efficient operations and ensure strong communication and collaboration exists between shift changes
• Report hazards and appropriately flag all plant-related issues beyond your scope to your leader
• Prepare and complete daily area logs and communicate significant changes and findings in a timely manner
• Have oversight to the work of maintenance and contract personnel as required
• Ensure timely action and process adjustments during plant upsets that are consistent with operational objectives and target outputs
• Prepare equipment and systems for maintenance and commissioning.

• You will work out of our Ethanol facility in Ontario, located at 535 Rokeby Line,

• The shift schedule is a 12-hour rotation of days and nights (three on, three off)
• This position is safety sensitive

Overview of the Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing and packaging equipment.

Schedule: Nights: 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. 5 on – 4 off;  5 on – 5 off; 4 on – 5 off

Hourly Rate: $42.98

Six Pints Collective is currently seeking a DZ Distribution Driver to join our team at our Distribution Centre based in Stayner, Ontario for Creemore Springs Brewery. As a DZ Distribution Driver, you are responsible for the safe and efficient transport of our products throughout Ontario. By providing exceptional customer service to our customers and always representing the brewery in a positive manner, the DZ Distribution Driver has a direct impact on the success of our business.  

The Responsibilities:  

• Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of Six Pints products throughout Ontario.  

• Responsible for unloading product off of the truck at each delivery stop (requires the ability to maneuver product that can exceed 100 lbs and up to 150 lbs). 

• Act as an ambassador of the products and the Brewery to all customers in a positive and professional manner. 

• Responsible for performing daily vehicle inspections; pre-trip and post-trip as outlined in driver procedures. 

• Keep the vehicle in compliance with all regulations through daily inspections and reports to Distribution Manager. 

• Perform minor repairs as required for safe operation of vehicle. 

• Take pride in the overall image that truck and driver convey to our customers and the general public. 

• Product inventory must be balanced each day with delivery invoices. 

• Collection of payment from customers as required. 

• Responsible for the security and accuracy of the load on truck before leaving each morning. 

• Identify opportunities for expanding existing or future business opportunities and communicating those opportunities to the sales department.
   

TheOtherQualifications:  

• A high school diploma or GED is required.  

• Must be 19 years of age or older. 

• Must hold a valid DZ license with a clean driving record (zero tolerence for alcohol-related infractions).

We are looking for an OHS worker to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site. He will ensure that contractors comply with site regulations during the execution of their work.
Having knowledge of health and safety is an asset for the position. Specific training will be provided on site. His main role will be to be informed of current and upcoming work, welcome the various contractors, supervise compliance with health and safety regulations during the execution of the work. Notify in the event of non-compliance, report relevant information to the immediate superior in detail. Documentation, analysis, research, inspection, etc. He will also be called upon to respond to various emergency calls for fire/medical/spill/dangerous situations (emergency measures training offered on site).
