What You’ll Do

As the voice of TD, you’ll be passionate about understanding our customers. Whether you’re assisting in-bound callers with account inquiries, or resolving an issue by providing advice and recommending a TD product or service, you’ll help us offer trusted support to our clients whenever they need it. You’ll consistently deliver legendary customer service by providing each caller with the right solutions to meet their unique banking needs.

 

As a valued member of our Contact Centre Team, you will:

· Make people’s day: consistently deliver an outstanding customer service experience by offering friendly

support through your knowledge of TD products, services and solutions.

· Solve problems efficiently: resolve customer inquiries at the first point of contact by asking questions and

responding with empathy to their concerns.

· Achieve your goals: consistently reach performance objectives, including customer experience survey

results, advice and quality goals, compliance regulations, and productivity targets.

· Never stop learning: actively participate in ongoing training and coaching support to help you continue to

grow and develop in your role.

 

Where You’ll Work After completing in-person training and onboarding sessions, you’ll work primarily offsite. Since most of your work activities can be performed independently, you’ll spend about 95% of your time at your secure, private workspace with a stable internet connection. Your remaining time will be spent at a TD location for in-person team events and experiences. The hiring manager will provide more information about how this works for their team.

Our Team and What We’ll Accomplish Together

 

As a Certified Occupational Health Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care including health promotion, illness prevention, supportive, curative, and rehabilitative care. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team including healthcare providers, educators, researchers, and leaders/advocates for both patient care and professional healthcare issues.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Promote health and wellness in patient encounters
  • Flexible to travel to employer office and/or mobile trailer to perform clinical  assessments in mobile clinics, Flu clinic, health surveillance assessments etc
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans for occupational and non-occupational health concerns
  • Consult with collaborating physicians and update the Medical Director as required
  • Conduct diagnostic testing such as electrocardiography, spirometry, audiometric testing, quantitative/qualitative mask fit testing, vision screening, immunizations, and obtaining blood samples
  • Perform physical assessments and determine fitness to work
  • Oversee the work of occupational health technicians
  • Work independently when required
  • Respond to emergency situations in clinical settings
  • Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Conduct drug & alcohol testing, physical demands testing, ear plug fit testing, and interpret results
  • Understand and apply the Occupational Health Act and applicable legislation
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to offer comprehensive patient care
  • Document all completed interventions
  • Maintain knowledge of testing required for TELUS Health Edmonton contracts
  • Ensure a professional and clean work environment
  • Lift and carry equipment safely (up to 50 lbs)
  • Apply infection control principles
  • Navigate medical equipment set-up, software, and administration independently in remote areas
  • Proficient in IT and using the Cority system

 

 

What You Bring

 

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
  • Current registration (or eligibility to register) with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Health Nursing (OHN) experience
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (required)
  • Certification in Drug and Alcohol Testing (an asset)
  • Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle
  • Current certification in BLS CPR/AED
  • Experience with After Hours Drug and Alcohol testing (an asset)
  • Sound professional judgment and initiative in nursing practice
  • Discreet and confidential handling of patient matters
  • Adherence to all safety and health policies, regulations, and safe work practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours and remotely throughout Alberta, delivering occupational health services via our mobile trailer

  •  Perform full lifecycle software development
