The Sales Representative is accountable for executing Lactalis sales strategy at retail to drive profitable revenue growth for the organization in accordance to Lactalis field sales process high standards. This execution includes managing business relationships at retail and generating new business in alignment with Lactalis overall objectives and those of its Divisions.
The attributes we are looking for:
- Create product demand and assist customers through the implementation of merchandising plans, display techniques and proactive inventory management to eliminate product “out- of-stock”. Secure and execute promotional plans that match with both corporate and banner needs.
- Execute store coverage model that is consistent with our field sales process, which satisfies customer needs while driving Lactalis sales results for Lactalis and its Divisions.
- Achieve distribution on authorized listings and secure secondary displays throughout the store by working with store personnel. Key focus products/categories will be determined by Area Sales Manager/Key Account Manager for the territory, region, and category based upon direction from Lactalis and its Divisions.
- Under the direction and guidance of the Area Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will actively build top line sales through successfully prospecting for new business and capitalizing on opportunities available within existing locations.
- Develop specific sales plan for each Division by customer (S.M.A.R.T. objectives) in weekly sales coverage model to achieve listing and merchandising objectives on a weekly and daily basis.
- Perform administrative duties including Business review reports, Delante budget reports, and summary of display/distribution objectives.
- Monitor and provide competitive market activity to the Area Sales Manager, regular selling price or feature selling price, competitive listings or de-listings, point-of-sale material that is supporting new product launches and/or customer marketing campaigns as well as changes within a category segment to ensure Marketing/Trade Marketing can analyze the risk/opportunity.
- Deliver positive results for specific KPI’s, utilize all communication platforms such as yammer and teams to communicate to the Regional leadership team and their peer group.
What you will bring:
- University degree or college diploma
- One (1) to two (2) sales experience in CPG industry or other related sales experience
- Robust analytical, planning, presentation, negotiation, and problem solving skills
- A positive attitude and high level of curiosity
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of the grocery industry and retail marketplace

- Negotiate repayment arrangements within a 90 day repayment period; escalate to Team Lead and or Sr. AR Manager for protracted periods.
- Collect on past due accounts and report to Account Receivable Team Lead and or Senior AR Manager on accounts requiring legal action, repossession, bad debt write off and identified as risk.
Customer Service:
- Provide customer service on accounts, includes forwarding invoices, processing credit card authorization forms, processing customer refund request; completion of Netting forms, Write-Off forms, Credit Matrix, and submission to the appropriate assigned signing authority.
- Responding to customer enquiries, by promptly answering the queue line.
- Reconciliation of AR accounts as required
Credit Approval:
- Approve credit releases for parts, service and rentals request and authorize requests over the set credit limit
Reporting:
- Prepare weekly & monthly AR reports as assigned
- Other assigned duties as required
Accountability:
- Meet or exceed set collection targets (60 to 90 day targets) and bad debt targets and reduce delinquency rates for assigned accounts, as outlined in corporate guidelines
- Regular, proactive and consistent contact with customers assigned and accurate and timely account and process information and documentation, as required
- Monitor and communicate customer portfolio metrics (e.g. delinquency notes, portfolio ageing and identified risks) to applicable internal stakeholders and Accounts Receivable Team Lead
- Identify and act on accounts requiring legal action through communicating with Accounts Receivable Team Lead, Senior CAR, or Senior AR Manager on areas of concern
- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner and establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers, branches and all internal relationships while maintaining confidentiality
- Adhere to policies and procedures outlined in the Credit Department Policies and or Procedures
Experience:
- 1-3 years of high volume corporate collections experience
- 1-3 years’ experience processing accounts receivable
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- Knowledgeable of the Personal Property Security Act (PPSA), Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA)
- Knowledgeable of basic business law and basic tax law
- Knowledgeable of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP), credit procedures and CCAA (Customer Credit Agreement Act)
- Knowledge of account receivable and collection practices
- Understands and adheres to Finning policies and procedures, including Safety

Job Summary
The Assistant Track Supervisor is responsible for leading the operations of an assigned territory that involves track inspection and repairs. The role oversees replacing rails, ties, switches, and ballasts. In addition, the position provides daily support to the Track Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities
· Lead engineering operations as outlined in CN’s operating plan
· Supervise and lead activities of track gangs, track employees, and hi-rail operations
· Handle engineering operations which include compliance with safe work procedures, Transport Canada guidelines, and CN standards, policies, and regulations
· Lead people with clear direction and goals while providing coaching and guidance to employees through regular performance monitoring

Working Conditions
The role will be partially performed in an office environment and outdoors in various types of weather and environmental conditions with irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role requires regular travel (up to 50%) across their assigned territory at times without advance notice. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and stress. The position requires responding to unexpected and emergency situations, and being able to lift up to 70 lbs.
