EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of Grade 10

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Sign in at the customer service counter to obtain vendor badge 2-locate duty manager to make introduction and acknowledge the merchandising service is about to begin
  • go to the receiving area to obtain empty bread trays in order to place the outdated product that’s about to be pulled from the mainline and off shelf displays.
  • merchandiser is first to service the mainline bread shelf by pulling outdated product from the shelf by color bread tag, orange tag on Wednesday and Yellow Tag Sunday. Merchandiser must ensure no product is left on the shelf with less than 2 days on the bread tag. Merchandiser is to service all off shelf displays in the store that support CB products.
  • merchandiser is to go to the receiving area of the store to locate our back stock of product and bring the appropriate amount of stock to the mainline counter.
  • service the mainline counter by rotating product to ensure newer product is behind older product, first in first out principal.
  • stock shelves to ensure product is placed in the correct location by following shelf tags / product description / planogram.
  • bring empty bread trays back to the receiving room and place them in the CB designated area ensuring the bread trays are placed in a criss cross pattern one on top of the other no more than 24 trays in a pile.
  • review conditions with the duty manager prior to leaving the account and address any further customer concerns at that time.
  • sign out of the account at the customer service counter and return the vendor badge.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • G driver license is required to operate most vehicles.
  • Post-Secondary education in sales, operations, and management or business studies.
  • Self-motivated, with good communication and strong customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of sales, merchandising, inventory control management.
  • Ability to successfully use MS Excel and other computer software necessary for Bimbo Canada sales.
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative, and acting as a strong team leader/member.
  • May require lifting of up to 25lbs.

What you will do 
You provide high-quality service to visitors at the Museum. Under the supervision of the Manager, Visitor Services, you contribute to the mandate of the Museum by offering public activities for visitors, such as guided tours and school visits. In addition, you participate in the development and execution of scheduled Museum activities. 
 
NOTE - Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 14 hours and a maximum of 37.5 hours per week from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, time may vary  (Monday to Sunday), including holidays. Preference will be given to candidates who are available to work weekends. Evening shift availability may be requested for special events. 
 
More specifically you will: 

  • meet and greet visitors at the front desk, answer questions about all aspects of the Museum and gather visitor data 
  • raise public awareness of the roles and responsibilities of the Central Bank 
  • interpret history and the themes of the Museum through dialogue with visitors 
  • facilitate guided tours, family activities at special events and school programs in person and virtually 
  • assist in the Museum boutique
