As P&D Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all terminal based Pickups and Deliveries, equipment management, team development and for building and maintaining strong relationships with the broker and driver stakeholder group. • Ensure customer freight is picked up and delivered within our service matrix.

Your Skills & Experience: 

• Post-secondary education, preferably in logistics or business administration

• Good working computer literacy in MS Office, AS400, Truck Mate and dispatch software; ability to learn and implement new systmes

• Perform structural condition assessments in an operating industrial plant.
• Prepare reports in collaboration with the lead Structural Engineer and Project Manager.
• Perform design and analysis of structural steel and concrete elements.

• Generate deliverable documentation (i.e.. drawings and specifications) for structural projects.
• Regularly review shop drawings, answer RFI’s and develop design solutions and modifications when warranted by site conditions.

Your Profile

• Experience in designing with steel and concrete.
• Experience in consulting engineering is an asset.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision in an industrial plant setting, while representing the company on site.
• Must be able to complete 2 weeks on/off rotational schedule.
• Registration, or eligibility for immediate registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland & Labrador (PEGNL).
