Responsibilities

• Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck).
• Build, change or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space and securing damaged or defective product.
• Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
• Manage backroom by organizing stock (product); identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels; evaluating and processing damaged product; re-packing product; organizing backroom materials (i.e., pallets, product shells etc.); completing any required paperwork.
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.
• Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
   
• Physical Requirements:
  • Repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance.
  • Consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head.
  • Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
  • Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age.
• Minimum one (1) year experience working in grocery, retail, warehousing or related field preferred.
• Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year experience working under little to no supervision preferred.
• Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours
• Must have current vehicle liability insurance.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record with no major violations over the last three (3) years.

About This Opportunity

The Warehouse Supervisor is on the warehouse floor to lead their team and ensure the products are properly received, stored, and shipped. The supervisor works as a coach and mentor to their team. To succeed in this position, the supervisor must be capable of planning the workload, motivating their team, and offering great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a team of 30 to 50 warehouse unionized employees, while respecting budgetary constraints
• Maintaining a safe work environment to enforce health and safety policies and regulations in the workplace
• Coach, lead and mentor of all warehouse employees
• Overseeing the storage, as well as the shipping and receiving of goods
• Work with the supervisory and management team to develop a work environment that promotes good working relationships and ongoing communication with unionized employees
• Developing and apply control methods to maintain a high level of labour efficiency
• Taking part in any other related projects or tasks

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in a related field or experience deemed equivalent
• Have at least five (5) years of supervisory experience in a unionized storage or distribution environment
• Be a leader, a good communicator, and a convener
• Possess excellent organization and time-management skills
• Be familiar with Office and SAP computer tools

About This Opportunity

Fleet Mechanics perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles according to DOT and OSHA regulations, with a specific focus on medium and heavy duty, diesel tractor and trailer maintenance and repair.

The Details:

This is a Full-time position that will start ASAP. Standard work week is 40 hours with the potential for overtime during our peak seasons. 

Wage: $43.02

Premiums: Yes, Night & Weekend.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

Hours: 40 hours per week, overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete repairs on all types of vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance within fleet department.
• Perform preventative maintenance in fleet.
• Respond to service calls.
• Maintain tools and area of work in an organized fashion.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles if required.
• Participate in and adhere to the required safety training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 year’s work experience.
• Previous experience as a mechanic with light and heavy equipment required.
• 3+ years journeyman mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience repairing and diagnosing gasoline, diesel, and propane engines, automotive electrical systems and material handling equipment preferred.
• Successful applicant will be required to have a Class 1 Driver’s license or be suitable for Class 1 training.
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• May be required to supply automotive hand toole (not including heavy duty or diagnostic tools).
• Knowledge of airbrake and electrical systems and components preferred.
• Experience operating Forklifts preferred.

About This Opportunity

The Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for providing health and safety support and expertise to Coke Canada's facilities and operations in Lachine. This includes promoting a positive health and safety culture, developing programs and best practices, ensuring compliance with regulations, site-specific and corporate requirements, and maintaining compliance with required certifications. This role requires someone who is comfortable in a manufacturing environment, able to deliver presentations or training to groups, define and support health and safety improvement projects and carry out detailed/administrative tasks using a computer.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and promote the health and safety culture. 
• Define and support health and safety improvement projects. 
• Coordinate and administer health and safety committee meetings and reports. 
• Carry out training activities.
• Carry out audits/inspections and monitor compliance.
• Provide specialized knowledge to departmental. managers/supervisors/employees to help identify health and safety gaps and opportunities for improvement, and contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of actions.
• Accurately prepare various health and safety performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with pre-defined indicators.
• Maintain and update health and safety notice boards, documents and all health and safety-related communications. 
• Participate in local management activities and work in collaboration with the company's corporate QHSE department.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years' experience in health and safety, preferably in a unionized work environment in manufacturing, warehousing or distribution.
• Experience in audits and certification process (ISO 14001/45001 an asset).
• Knowledge of federal, provincial and local occupational health and safety and workers' compensation regulations.
• Bilingual in French and English
• Ability to influence others, such as managers, supervisors and employees.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other online tools.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced work environment and stay organised.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others on initiatives and projects to ensure sustainable results.
• Ability to effectively conduct meetings, training sessions and workshops.

The Details: 

This is a part-time position that will start asap. The hours will average 20 to 30 per week but may increase up to 40 per week depending on the needs of the business and candidates' availability. 

Wage: $19.50 / Hour 
KM Reimbursement: $0.62 / KM between Stores
Workdays: Monday to Sunday
Hours: Variable, 20-30 hours per week.
Day Shifts: Scheduled between 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
