This role involves performing heavy-duty cleaning and general maintenance in various recreation centers, City Hall, and Engineering and Works Yard facilities. Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform all required facility janitorial duties.
- Monitor boilers, furnaces, hot water heaters, air handling equipment and reports any mechanical problems to supervisor.

- Ensure chemical-based cleaning agents are handled, applied and stored safely according to health and safety requirements.
- Respond to facilities-related service requests that include but are not limited to furniture moves, room set up, and receiving deliveries.

- Perform low-pressure boiler checks following standards as outlined in the Saskatchewan Boiler Act and Regulations.
- Perform general grounds maintenance including sweeping, collecting litter, and snow removal.
- Ensure equipment and supplies are attended to and accounted for and stock levels are adequate.
- Ensure assigned facility and offices are maintained and secure.
- Follow rules and regulations as set out in the Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Act and the City of Regina Occupational Health and Safety Manual.
- Perform related duties as required.
Key Qualifications
- Typically the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform this position are obtained through completion of Grade Ten (10) or GED equivalent, combined with caretaking experience.
- Must possess a Fireman’s Certificate (City Hall and Engineering and Works Facilities).
- Will be required to obtain certification on the one-man lift (Recreation Facilities).
- Work assignments will be determined subject to qualifications.
- Thorough knowledge of janitorial work to perform routine caretaking services efficiently and effectively.

- Ability to sit for long periods of time in the driver’s seat while wearing a seat belt.

- Ability to “reach over-head” with both arms to manipulate controls.
- Constant twisting and neck rotation of different ranges to check mirrors, blind spots etc.

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary full-time Dispatcher to join our dynamic Logistics team.
The Logistics team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by coordinating the dispatch of transport drivers and vehicles. In this role, you will be responsible in facilitating the safe and timely distribution of blood products, equipment, materials and the transportation of staff and donors.
Formula for success
- Utilizing your organizational skills, you will review, plan and coordinate vehicle and staff resources to meet daily operational requirements.
- Drawing on your knowledge of safe transportation procedures and your attention to detail, you will ensure vehicle maintenance is in accordance with Canadian Blood Services Transportation Rules and Procedures Manual.
- Leveraging your great communication skills, you will facilitate the resolution of day to day operational issues, consulting the supervisor/manager for direction as appropriate.
- Initiate, post and revise Driver's daily work schedule to accommodate changing work flow within the department to meet all tasks including staff and donor shuttles, mobile transportation, hospital deliveries and centre functions.
- Build and foster professional relationships with vendors, internal and external customers.
- You will complete appropriate documentation required for department activities, compile statistical information and prepare reports upon requests.
- Serve as the first point of reference in resolution of day to day centre and mobile related issues; problem solve and redirect resources required.
Desired education and skills
- Completion of secondary school program.
- Current experience (within the last 3 years) in a Dispatcher role or related position within a Logistics environment is required.
- Current experience (within the last 3 years) in a customer service environment is required.
- Experience in a Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain Operations environment would be an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, being able to exercise tact, sound judgement and discretion when dealing with others.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
- Must be willing to obtain Class 4 MB license and provide commercial drivers abstract.

Coke Canada Bottling Bulk Drivers are responsible for the delivery of pre-ordered products to assigned accounts. This is a long-haul role and requires overnights. This is a short haul role and all driving will be locally based.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Commercial License with Air (Class 1 or AZ) with no major violations over the last three (3) year
- One (1) plus year of commercial driving experience
- One to three years of general work experience
- Local delivery experience preferred
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance
