We’re looking for a full-time Electrician (309A) to work with us in the Muskoka and Parry Sound region. 

What you’ll do

• Responsible for installing, constructing and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment and systems, primarily within a residential construction setting.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing installations.
• Ensures finishing work and fixtures are satisfactorily completed to the corporate
  standard, site drawings and electrical and building codes.
• Manages materials inventory and ensures accurate billing of time and material to
  customers.

Experience and qualifications

• Hold a valid 309A electrical license for the province of Ontario.
• Hold a valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language

Experience and specialization: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Polishing machines, Power tools, Power lawn mowers, Small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments), Snowblower
Credentials: Building service worker course
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, Driver’s validity licence check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, judgmental
• The candidate should have excellent oral communication

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to wash windows, interior walls and ceilings, make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• The candidates should be able to perform minor repairs on appliances, perform safety and security checks
• The candidates should be able to move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies, perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• The candidates should be able to water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, work with minimal supervision, clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
