About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor Coke Canada Bottling Driver Merchandisers are responsible for delivery of pre-ordered product to assigned accounts, stocking, merchandising and rotating product. They are a critical part of the team that ensures Coke Canada Bottling products are readily available in stores, and play a crucial role in keeping beverage sections, end caps, racks, and displays brimming with refreshing options.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-ordered products to customers on assigned route using a Coke Canada Bottling fleet truck.
  • Check accuracy and stability of truck load.
  • Carry out an inspection of truck before departure and hitch the trailer.
  • Offload products and bring into the customer’s location.
  • Merchandise product into customer location as needed.
  • Collect company property.
  • Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.

Qualifications

  • Commercial License with Air (Class 1 or AZ) with no major violations over the last three (3) years.
  • One (1) plus year of commercial driving experience.
  • One to three years of general work experience.
  • Local delivery experience preferred.
  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without
  • assistance.

JOB SUMMARY

JOB SUMMARY

The mandate of Water Services is to provide treatment and distribution of a sustainable supply of high-quality drinking water and is committed to protecting the environment by collecting and treating wastewater for the health and prosperity of Ottawa. 

You are responsible for planned, unplanned and emergency inspection, testing, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair of electrical and electronic equipment within Water Services’ water treatment, supply and storage facilities (including the Water Purification Plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, elevated tanks, metering facilities and well treatment systems) or wastewater treatment and collection facilities (including wastewater treatment plant, pumping stations, odour control facilities, and regulators). 

These duties are carried out in an industrial, production and quality-focused environment and, as such, must be completed in consideration of, and in close coordination with, other skilled trade and maintenance staff in the Branch.

As a licensed water treatment, wastewater treatment and/or wastewater collection system operator, you are also responsible for operating various pieces of process equipment (in Drinking Water this spans water treatment, distribution and supply process equipment and in Wastewater this spans wastewater treatment and collection process equipment) and/or adjusting various water or wastewater treatment system process parameters, after prior consultation with and in close coordination with other licensed operating staff in the Branch.

Note this equipment includes, but is not limited to:  electrical power supply, distribution and generating equipment (up to 44kV), generators (up to 4.8MW), motors (up to 1.5MW), associated motor starter and control equipment, power cabling, transformers, standby, emergency and uninterruptable power systems, lighting systems, power control and lighting panels, electric actuators, electrical metering and monitoring systems, instrumentation and control equipment, and building services equipment. The equipment may or may not be energized, during the work, and is located in a variety of locations including chemical feed and storage areas, electrical equipment rooms, machine rooms, generator rooms, pump rooms, valve rooms and chambers, confined spaces, elevated tanks, above and below grade reservoirs, outdoor power substations, office areas, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of Industrial Electrician or Construction and Maintenance Electrician apprenticeship program of 9000 hours.

Group Summary:

The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on the design, fabrication, installation, programming and try-out of new and modified equipment.
  • Complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner as required.
  • Evaluate the job to be done in relation to tools required and the extent of materials needed.
  • Estimate the time required for each job.
  • Read, interpret and/or alter electrical wiring diagrams as required.
  • Troubleshoot electrical control problems.
  • Carry out any preventative maintenance work as required by the company preventative maintenance program.
  • Ladder work as required.
  • Work is completed through use of various meters, computers, scopes, milling machines, drill presses, assorted grinders, lathes and various welders.
  • Assist other maintenance departments and personnel as required.
  • Liaise with all other departments including production, toolroom, engineering and quality control in the performance of duty.
  • Through the purchasing department, liaise with outside contractors and suppliers.
  • Responsible for the completion of daily time sheets.
  • Working with 600v and 110v.

 

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Certified Electrician with the appropriate papers. 309A or 442A
  • Ability to read, interpret and amend detailed machine blueprints.
  • A working knowledge of PLC programming, primarily with Allen Bradley, Omron and Texas Instruments controllers, is a definite asset.
  • Attention to detail is key as position involves work on equipment which is not easily replaced.
  • As general direction is provided, must have the ability to work independently.
  • Working at heights, scissor lift, genie boom, fall arrest training.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the company's data ecosystem.
  • Deploy and manage sensors to monitor data and statistics related to production processes, part information, as well as energy sources, including power usage, steam, gas, water, and air.
  • Write and maintain SQL Queries to accomplish various goals through the data environment.

  • Proficiency in Relational Databases in SQL as well as UNS Structures in AWS and Azure data systems
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Graffana
