Under the general supervision of the Regional Manager the CLEANER performs a variety of specialized cleaning and building maintenance related tasks with emphasis on customer satisfaction and quality service delivery. 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Functioning as a core member of the team, the Cleaner must be able to:

  • Carries out responsibilities to meet Client/Tenant requirements and ensures that cleaning deficiencies are identified to the management team for inclusion in the cleaning program
  • Clean and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
  • Clean floors by sweeping, scrubbing, or vacuuming 
  • Dry/wet mop (wash/scrub) and polish hard surface floors including washroom floors. (The washing/scrubbing of floors is done with handheld or walk behind buffing machines. In large open applications, automatic equipment may be used to perform these functions) 
  • Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
  • Strip and finish hard surface floors manually or with power equipment when required 
  • Steam clean or shampoo carpets 
  • Transport garbage from drop points to garbage bins or compactor 
  • Cleans stairwells and elevator cabs where ladders are required 
  • Window cleaning, including glass areas requiring ladders, scaffolding or other extension equipment to reach (power washing). 
  • Transport maintenance machinery, where necessary, between floors and job sites 
  • Cleans and stores equipment and machinery used, reporting any deficiencies to Management team
  • Stock and maintain supplies/rooms.  Loads and unloads supplies and replenishes cleaning solutions 
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures 
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications 
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs.  Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems 
  • Remove snow and debris from sidewalks, driveways, or parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, or snow shovels, or spread snow melting chemicals. 
  • Ensures compliance with corporate and legislated policies, procedures, practices and guidelines related to environmental, health and safety, and fire protection
  • Represents BGIS SCS in enhancing tenant and customer satisfaction and maintain positive relations
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • May be required to work shifts, work on-call/standby and emergency call-out as required
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Ideally already established in the cleaning business
  • 2 years + experience preferred, however willing to train a suitable candidate
  • Excellent time management skills/must adhere to tight deadlines/respond quickly to situations
  • Self-starter, willing to learn, able to work independently
  • Team player
  • Good verbal communication and writing skills
  • Bilingual (EN/FR) is an Asset
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Positive attitude toward all aspects of Environment, Health and Safety

The Role

Provide technology collaboration and be the ambassador for Automation across Group Treasury Technology.

  • 2-3 years of industry experience.
  • Must have extensive knowledge and experience with major programming languages such as Python, Java, .NET, SQL and scripting.
  • Hands on experience working in a DevOps/Agile environment

Molson Coors is currently seeking a Administrative Clerk to join our team, based in our Toronto Brewery.  Reporting to the Senior Administrative Assistant, the Administrative Clerk will support and ensure administrative tasks and information flow are completed accurately and in an effective and efficient manner for our Packaging, Maintenance, Warehouse, Brewing and Engineering Departments.

 

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for various administrative tasks for departments
  • Responsible for documenting and ensuring departmental invoicing and purchase orders are maintained
  • Ensure Maintenance and Warehouse Overtime Equalization reports are completed in accordance to Department Guidelines
  • Canvass maintenance employees for overtime to complete scheduling commitments while ensuring overtime guidelines are adhered to
  • Maintain vacation schedules, lieu day requests, and LOA’s for Local 325 and Local 772
  • Administer daily timesheet adjusting entries for department’s hourly employees in accordance to the Collective Agreement rules
  • Prepare weekend overtime schedules for departments
  • Provide payroll reports and audits when requested by Finance/Human Resources
  • Collect and distribute departments’ mail on a weekly basis
  • Maintain department supplies including paper stock, forms and general office supplies
  • Works closely with Leadership team and Union membership to achieve daily/weekly objectives
  • Participate in various projects, initiatives or other duties as assigned
  • Support team during vacation coverage

Experience:

  • Community College Diploma or Equivalent
  • knowledge of payroll and scheduling applications
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience
  • advanced knowledge of software applications including SAP, Microsoft Office and Excel
  •  Dayforce experience would be considered an asset

As part of your position as Merchandising Specialist, in the Laval region  and surrounding areas , you will be part of a world-class sales team. The merchandiser will work in collaboration with the regional sales team and will report to the district manager. You will carry out merchandising activities according to the established plan and the available space in order to ensure the effective marketing of Molson products to customers in your territory in order to achieve sales volume and market share objectives. Responsibilities:

  • Carry out merchandising activities in your territory according to the defined parameters as well as your visiting schedule;
  • Ensure excellent merchandising activities and proper use of advertising materials in your territory;

  • Seize all opportunities for additional sales through new merchandising spaces at your customers' premises;

Other qualifications:

  • Experience in the food industry is a strong asset;
  • You know the main merchandising and sales techniques
  • You have a valid class 5 driving license and a car for your travel and the transport of promotional materials;
  • You are bilingual (French and English), both orally and in writing;
  • You are dynamic, an excellent communicator, able to demonstrate autonomy, initiative and creativity;

This role is a combination of merchandising (85%) and sales (15%)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual or powered equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck) ensuring Right Execution Daily meeting company standards for product display
  • Building, changing and removing product displays; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space and securing damaged or defective product

  • Follow all Company and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety
  • Act as an Ambassador by providing customer service to Consumers and store personnel by answering questions, locating product, and providing assistance as needed
  • Repetitively lift, carry, and position product (weighing up to 50 lbs or 22 kgs) above shoulder height without assistance
  • Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
  • Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work
  • Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record with no major violations over the last three (3) years
  • Must have current vehicle liability insurance
  • 1-year exp. working in grocery, retail, warehousing, or related field, preferred Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks or certification, preferred 1-year experience working under little or no supervision
