KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Coordination

• Acts as the first point-of-contact for environmental, health, safety and security inquiries and incidents
• Provides guidance to account team members on environmental, health, safety and security matters, and escalates inquiries, where appropriate

• Maintains and assists with the creation of environmental, health and safety documentations including but not limited to plans, processes, procedures
• Creates and maintains documentations including but not limited to instruction sheets, check lists, forms, training materials
• Maintains business continuity and emergency management plans and procedures
• Participates in field inspections, job observations; health, safety and environment audits and other types of reviews for the purpose of monitoring compliance to health, safety and environment requirements and identifying risks. Provides findings about risks and suggestions for improvement

Incident Investigation, Resolution & Reduction

• Assists in the investigation and resolution of incidents including root-cause analysis and providing probable causes of incidents and recommendations for resolution
• Coordinates the implementation of corrective and preventative measures
• Assists in the identification and analysis of trends. Communicates observations and provides suggestions for incident reduction measures

Audit Compliance, Data Maintenance & Reporting

• Maintains all environmental, health, safety and security-related data including but not limited to incident data, criminal record checks, compliance data within applicable databases and all other types of information storage systems
• Assists in the audit of compliance records and all other environmental, health, safety and security data
• Prepares and distributes various environmental, health, safety and security-related reports including but not limited to incident reports
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• College degree completed
• Certification in one or more of the following – Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, Certificate in Environmental Management through a Community College; or University degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences
• 1 to 3 years of environmental, health , safety and security work experience

Understanding of environmental, health and safety regulatory requirements

• Understanding of emergency management requirements

Contributing in this role means:

• Carry out the installation, maintenance and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repair of equipment and the building;
• Ensure checks and maintenance of the refrigeration and air conditioning systems as well as ensuring the proper functioning of the steam boiler;
• Sanitary welding (TIG);
• Carry out the work to be done according to established priorities, the availability of equipment and materials required;
• Perform inspection and preventive maintenance of equipment;
• Troubleshoot control sequences including PLCs, operator interfaces, frequency converters, industrial and computer communication networks.
• Maintain schematic drawings, work procedures and configuration parameters of the various equipment, while respecting the electrical safety program and health and safety standards established by the company.

The qualifications sought are:

• Hold a DEP in electromechanics or other similar training;
• Hold a C license (Asset)
• Have concrete knowledge of electrical systems, reading plans or diagrams.
• Have skills with automation systems in a predominantly Allen-Bradley environment;
• Have a minimum knowledge of operator interfaces (HMI), Allen-Bradley and Omron;
• Master the operation of electric motors and frequency variators.

We are looking for a motivated Delivery Assistant/Warehouse Attendant to join our distribution team in Val d'Or . In this role, you will work closely with a Delivery Driver to ensure the delivery of our products (beer and other beverages) to our commercial customers. You will be a key member of our team, contributing to delivery management, warehousing and order preparation. 

Responsibilities : 

• Ensure delivery of beer and beverages to merchants using specialized equipment, including a moffet. 

• Work with a delivery person  to make deliveries. 

• Unload crates and barrels of beer and beverages from the truck and place them according to established standards. 

• Rotate products to maintain freshness and ensure delivery compliance. 

• Use computer tools to invoice orders to customers. 

• Assist with order preparation in the warehouse as needed. 

• Operate a forklift or electric pallet jack to move and retrieve pallets of beer and beverages as part of order preparation. 

• Complete the loading of trucks intended for deliveries and unload the empty crates on the return journey. 

Other qualifications : 

• You are of legal drinking age in Quebec (18 years and older). 

• You are in good physical condition and able to work standing up for the duration of your shift.  

• You are able to carry loads of up to 150 lbs repeatedly.
