A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do: Reporting to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor, the Facility Maintenance Operator is part of a team responsible for the ongoing upkeep of the building envelope and grounds at the London Poultry facility. You will work closely with a variety of specialized contractors to ensure timely completion and adherence to preventative maintenance plans. You will operate yard equipment such as tractors, fork lifts, articulating booms and more to support various functions around the plant.
As a Facility Maintenance Operator, you will:
- Liaison and support facility contractors while onsite performing work or inspections
- Execute minor repairs to the building envelope and systems in a timely manner aligning with the maintenance work management process
- Perform rooftop equipment general maintenance including HVAC filter replacements, inspections, lubrications, etc.
- Perform and participate in facility inspections in accordance with the Food Safety and preventative maintenance programs
- Operate yard equipment such as tractors, fork lifts, articulating booms, scissor lifts, etc.
- Perform housekeeping, janitorial and other general maintenance duties
- Generate work request notifications for corrective repairs discovered during routine inspections
- Sweeping of yard around dock chock mechanisms as required

- Lawn and yard work as required which may include lawn cutting, weed removal, parking lot sweep, garbage pickup, as needed
