What you will do

  • Complete full cycle recruitment including developing job postings, screening candidates, interviewing, making recommendations to hiring leaders and onboarding new employees.

  • Create and implement effective recruiting strategies, plans, and processes to attract professional, technical and management level talent.

  • Conduct intake calls with hiring leaders to understand requirements and correctly target and screen applicants.

  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates, particularly through professional social media channels to promote employment opportunities at Enbridge.

  • Build solid relationships with candidates to ensure a viable talent pipeline.

  • Use internal and external networks to leverage standard methodologies in recruitment and selection.

  • Respond to inquiries regarding employment opportunities.

  • Optimize efficiency of the recruitment process by making recommendations and implementing improvements.

 

What will you need to succeed?

  • Post-secondary education equivalent to a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or a related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Minimum of 4 years of full cycle recruiting experience within a fast-paced environment.

  • CHRP, RPR, LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter is considered an asset.

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS). Workday experience is highly desired.

  • Solid understanding of total compensation and how it relates to the candidate offer negotiation phase.

What you will do:

  • Prepare monthly recurring and non-recurring journal entries, ensures financial information is entered into the general ledger system timely, to meet financial cycle reporting timelines. 

  • Drive Day 1 to Day 6-month end activities, ensuring completion of specific accountabilities and deliverables associated with each day.

  • Review and analyze the monthly general ledger for reasonableness, accuracy, and compliance with GAAP.

  • Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.

  • Work with sub-ledger groups (Project Accounting, Payroll, Oil Accounting, Treasury) and other stakeholders to ensure that all financial reporting requirements are met, and issues / queries are resolved timely.

  • Identify process improvements and propose solutions.

  • Assist with SOX reporting requirements.

Who you are:

  • Related university or college degree with 2 to 4 years’ experience in an accounting environment.

  • Recently obtained or is working towards a professional accounting designation.

  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials / Hyperion Financial Management / SmartView would be an asset.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Working knowledge of US GAAP.

Desired education and skills
