  • Prepares and publishes tenders as required and ensures all work orders are scheduled and completed on time.
  • Completes forms as required for various departments – such as RFQs, building advisories, AHJ (Intelex), diesel fuel-call up, etc.
  • Develops scopes of work and requests quotes from service providers where required.
  • Uploads all applicable documentation to work orders for reporting and auditing purposes.
  • Coordinates with contractors and building technicians to ensure proper work order and procurement processes are followed.
  • Reviews monthly Preventative Maintenance work orders. Ensures PM’s are dispatched appropriately and are scheduled and completed prior to month end.
  • Administers and monitors service contracts including cleaning and reviews vendor/contractor performance.
  • Prepares monthly summaries of expenses with supporting details and resolves errors or inconsistencies in expenses from the general ledger.
  • Schedules, coordinates & completes cleaning inspections to guarantee best-in-class image is upheld at all times; reports and follows up on deficiencies with cleaning contractor (travel may be required).

Health and Safety:

  •  Responsible for the safety of all employees and contractors by ensuring all health and safety policies and procedures are being followed and work permits are in place for all work being conducted.
  • In the event of accident informs immediately according to Company procedure. Prepare incident reporting.

What you will do:

  • Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
  • Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy
  • Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner
  • Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment
  • Liaise with freight companies and inside/outside customers to determine shipping priorities
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse

 

What you will bring:

  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Forklift experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of industry (Plumbing and or HVAC) products is an asset
  • General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs pounds

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property, its assets, and personnel.
  • Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
  • Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
  • Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
  • Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
  • Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client's property and assets.
  • Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.
  • Uses computer systems and software to monitor sites and complete basic trainings.
  • Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Valid provincial Security Guard License 
  • Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
  • Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • First Aid/ CPR is considered an asset
