The Security Manager is primarily responsible for the physical security of Coke Canada Bottling’s facilities, assets and employees, collective bargaining contingency planning, assisting Human Resources with investigations and the retrieval of company assets from customer and former customer locations.   • Conduct thorough, unbiased and timely investigations, including review of CCTV;
  • Ensure proper procedures are followed to preserve evidence and maintain confidentiality;
  • Clearly communicate findings with all interested parties, produce clear summaries of actions taken and provide recommendations for further investigation;
  • Liaise with external investigative units as required in order to ensure a full investigation is conducted;
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group. Influence and negotiate to achieve business objectives;
  • Conducs independent analysis and assessment to resolve security issues;
  • Respond to and assists in the management of crisis situations.
  • Responds and provide support for urgent/emergency situations after normal business hours.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years experience in an investigative/analytical role either in law enforcement or another discipline that involves the investigation of casework and the assembly of information/ evidence to prove a case in court or justify a recommendation or other outcome;
  • Bilingual in spoken and written English and French;
  • Experience with implementation, operation and support of electronic access control and surveillance systems;
  • Strong knowledge of investigative practices, methods and enforcement strategies;
  • Familiar with the protocols for collecting, handling, and passing on evidence;
  • Experience in employee and labour relations;
  • Experience in contingency measures and procedures;
  • Experience in presenting or delivering presentations and training programs;

The receptionist/clerk is the front line position in providing accessible, friendly and efficient customer service for students and staff. This position is part of a team that is the first point of contact for all phone calls regarding booking appointments for medical care, relaying messages to nurses and doctors, requests for medical test results and reports, requests for copies of medical charts, requests for information, points of sale, updating demographics, corresponding with patients, etc.  They also provide medical office assistance to the medical team by assisting patient registration and consent process, updating charts, faxing, managing referrals, ordering supplies, etc.  In addition, the incumbent assists the department staff with statistics of department activity level and client satisfaction surveys.

 

Required Qualifications:

JOB SUMMARY

The mandate of Traffic Services is to provide all traffic operations, road safety, traffic investigations and traffic management in the City of Ottawa. 

You are accountable for providing vision, leadership and strategic direction to the Service, and planning, organizing, directing, controlling, evaluating and improving the development and delivery of its priorities, services, programs and operations.

Services and programs include integrated, safe and efficient management of the City’s transportation system network which has a direct impact on emergency services, business owners and the general population of the City of Ottawa. 

Traffic Services is comprised of the Traffic Operations and Traffic, Safety and Mobility units.

You are also accountable for managing the Service’s human and financial resources including contracted services for large capital programs as required.  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of 4 year university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration or other related field

Minimum of 10 years of related experience in the Transportation field, including a minimum of 5 years managing human resources, external contract resources, operating and capital budgets in a complex public organization or private sector corporation

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES
