The Level 4 – Maintenance Multi Skilled is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a variety of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems within an industrial environment.

Responsibility

·         Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues of the production equipment to minimize downtime.

·         Perform predictive and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment according to established schedules.

·         Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensure all systems are properly integrated and functional.

·         Repair and replace defective parts, such as bearings, gears, belts and motors.

·         Conduct precision alignments and adjustments on machinery.

Academic/Educational Requirements

·         High school diploma or qualification.

Certificate of Qualification for both Industrial Electrician 442A and Industrial Mechanic Millwright 433A.

The Gauge Technician position, under general supervision, is responsible for calibrating, testing, setting up, and repairing various controls, instruments, and gauges measuring all types of variables (these may include dimensional, magnetism, NDT, mechanical properties, metallurgical, or weight).
