The Quality Engineering Lead reports to the Senior Manager, Quality Engineering, and is responsible for delivering QE tasks ensuring all aspects of testing (automation, manual, services, accessibility, etc.) are meeting quality while complying with Tangerine Delivery framework and process.  The Senior Quality Engineer is also responsible for maintaining the code for the Tangerine regression suite as well as executing it for each and every build prior to a production release

• Day-to-day coordination of QE squad, including overseeing and carrying out following type of testing:  Functional Testing (including automation), Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Accessibility Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Production Acceptance Testing and other types of testing as required.

• Coach and provide mentorships to testing team members in various areas including business domain, functional testing, automation and non-functional testing while ensuring the test teams are compliant with Tangerine test methodologies and industry best practices.

• Recommending and implementing various process or framework enhancements by collaborating with QE community with in the bank.

• Manage and lead testing activities for multiple large scale enterprise wide programs/projects for Tangerine that are executed in Agile methodology

• Assess the risks associated with the development aspects of each solution/project and define approach for manual versus automation testing and institute change within the team

• Risk Management – document testing risks and provide mitigation and contingency plans from testing standpoint.

• Collect strategic, technical and operational test metrics.  Analyze current defects and test execution trends and extrapolate data for predictive analysis

• Work with people of varied level within QE and/or outside of QE Team including Business/Product, Engineering, PMO, Release Management, Design, etc. to meet key objectives and advocate for quality

• Responsible for team’s adherence to governance and processes, timely management of any issue or escalation and facilitates overall escalation processes

• Manage and review documentation and creating of testing artifacts (e.g., test strategies, plans, estimates, test cases, metrics/dashboard, defects log/report, sign-offs) to ensure artifacts adhere to prescribed standards and audit requirements

The Group Treasury Technology team provides development and support services for Group Treasury (including Structural Interest Rate Risk management, Asset/Liability Management, Funds Transfer Pricing, Match Maturity, Budgeting and Planning) and Global Risk Management (Global Retail Credit Risk, Trade Floor Risk Management).

The Role 
The Software Automation Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions to support the Group Treasury business with a focus on automating existing manual processes, reducing the likelihood for human errors and improving operational processes. 1. Project Management. Responsible for management of all aspects of building construction from start to finish including renovations and accommodations planning. This includes overseeing and managing a team of professionals that delivers high quality, timely and cost effective services and solutions to operating units that may require a wide range of planning and capital construction services. Ensures all projects are completed on time and on budget. Oversees the preparation of all policies and procedures e.g. tender documents, council reports etc. 
4. Reporting. Develops and implements project control systems, cost evaluation methodologies, performance evaluation criteria for consultant selection in accordance with approved Corporate policies and guidelines. Prepares reports for Council and various Committees. Oversees the preparation of documents to award and amend purchase orders and contracts. Ensures status of all projects is communicated according to project methodology and City protocol. Attends meetings to present report as required e.g. Council, and various Committees. Creates and implements a communication strategy to keep stakeholders informed. Attends public meetings to make presentations and respond to queries about construction projects. Ensures closeout documents are acceptable.
5. Consultative Advisor. Oversees the preparation of specifications for new work and service contracts. Develops strategic policies and programs to meet the long-term needs of the City's capital implementation requirements. Takes a lead role in the implementation of vendors of record for the section and administer these contracts. Develops policies and guidelines for all operations pertaining to the section. Analyses and recommends acceptance of consultant and construction contracts. Provides direction to consultants of all disciplines. Negotiates and coordinates ongoing relationships. Ensures construction contracts and drawing specifications are properly executed. Works collaboratively with stakeholders, committees and various advisory groups.

• University Degree in Engineering or Architecture or Construction Management or Interior Design or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the application of the principles and practices of facility operations and construction. 
• Professional designation and membership in CIP, OAA or PEO or ARIDO, or PIP or PMI preferred

• 5 years’ experience managing professional staff, consultants, construction firms, general contractors, leading project teams, project development, state of good repair, renovation and multi-phased major building projects, preferably in the public sector. In this role, you will provide professional engineering leadership, direction, and guidance to one or more Production Unit Teams (PUTs) in Suncor's Midstream Business Unit (BU) to support operations with safe, cost-effective, and timely execution of a subset of high-profile risk mitigation, economic and regulatory compliance projects/initiatives across Suncor’s Midstream assets in Central/Eastern Canada.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering 

• Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation or immediately eligible for registration

• 8+ years relevant Oil and Gas industry experience, preferably in Refinery, Pipelines or Distribution facilities
