PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Software Developer II will be responsible for analyzing, developing, testing, implementing and documenting software solutions/applications that will contribute to CP's ability to achieve it's organizational goals. The Software Developer II (IS) role will utilize their technology background to help meet departmental service level objectives. Software Developer II will demonstrate proficiency in providing user support by responding to customer calls and correspondence to ensure customers are well satisfied. Using established analytical skills, assists in troubleshooting and examining systems to identify technical issues and guide to root cause.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Gather, refine, and document system requirements to ensure functionalities follow best practice methodologies;
• Code, test, document and deliver requested functionality changes or enhancements to new or existing enterprise applications;
• Produce technical documentation (i.e. requirements, design documents, turnover documentation, test plans) for requested functionality changes or enhancements;
• Work within established CP software development standards and configuration management procedures and processes;

• 7+ years of experience with Java development.
• Experience designing and working with REST APIs
• API development experience in service and resource-oriented architectures

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The IS team provides cloud development services for multiple solutions across CPKC. The cloud team is responsible for helping application teams across CPKC with cloud (AWS and Azure) solutions including real-time data processing, on premise integrations, custom web applications, chat bots, and container-hosted applications. The team is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud solutions that provide both integrations to on premise IS applications and applications directly for use by end-users at CPKC. This role will be responsible for working with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and other members of the business to develop, deliver, and support cloud solutions primarily using serverless components.  This position will have a focus on Microsoft Azure, but will be expected to do some work in AWS.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for maintaining and supporting the application and related data processes in a production environment
• Develops applications following standards set by and for the team, including promotion standards, naming standards, integrations standards, documentation standards, and code repository standards

The Technical Coordinator is responsible for all technical requirements and support for our Newfoundland operations, including Master Control facilities, remote production setups, on-air equipment and the handling of all installation, maintenance and repair requirements for the four Rogers tv stations within the province. They are also constantly in liaison with the national engineering team, NL Station Manager and staff members to ensure the operations are running efficiently, as per Rogers’ procedures and regulations.

What you'll be doing:

• Perform technical maintenance and troubleshooting for Rogers TV production facilities in St. John’s, Gander, Grand Falls-Windsor and Corner Brook, NL.  

• Support master control operations in each Newfoundland market.

• Develop preventative maintenance plan..

• Liaise with management, production staff and volunteers,  to respond to their technical faults, issues and priorities.

• Assess faults, prioritize and report on completion or remedy.

• Provide on-site technical support for productions as assigned.

• Recommend, test, purchase and install new equipment and systems.

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Technology Officer, Technology Standardization Delivery, the Senior Enterprise Solutions Technical Lead will provide technical leadership to the City of Toronto (COT)_ Integrated Business Management System (IBMS) program. This role is critical to driving technical, strategic direction for the implementation of the application while providing leadership to the technical team that will support the project. The Senior Enterprise Solutions Technical Lead is also responsible for planning and coordinating the sustainment change impacts and specialized work packages for the IBMS project, working closely with the Program Director, Project Managers, Platform Owner, team members and other divisional stakeholders. Your application for the role of Senior Enterprise Solutions Technical Lead (IBMS)  should describe your qualifications as they relate to:

1. Extensive years of relevant, progressive supervisory work experience in all stages of complex IT solution development and sustainment programs with a proven track record of delivering results
2. Previous experience and knowledge of all or most of the elements of the role 
3. Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and collaboration in a multidisciplinary team setting, facilitation, communications, conflict resolution, and problem solving
4. Familiarity with municipal government policies, legislations, and procedures as it relates to City Planning, Toronto Building and Municipal Licensing and Standards.
5. Extensive experience in solution development and system design using a wide variety of technology standards: Eclipse, Visual Studio Code Java, Python, Apex, Spring Boot framework, CotJS (UI/JS/Form/Map) web framework, Apache Camel (or Nifi), PostgreSQL OpenAPI, JSON schema WordPress, OpenShift, AWS EKS and ECS, Blue Canvas, and Gitlab, Crystal Reports, J2EE, JIRA, ITIL, ServiceNow, Erwin Data Modeller, HP Testing Suite, Salesforce, JavaScript, SOAP, MVC architecture.
6. Experience in design, implementation, administration, and evaluation of integrated business management workflow solutions with Amanda v4.4, PowerBuilder, Oracle Database and or other CDRL applications
7. Considerable experience in system documentation preparation, reviews, and management, including options analysis, architecture, requirements, design, technical specifications, testing and service support specifications.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-divisional diverse environment
9. Business acumen and a strong customer service orientation to establish and maintain effective consulting relationships with clients and vendors.
10. University degree in computer science or a related discipline with several years of progressively more responsible development/sustainment experience in large scale IT solutions or the approved equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

RBC Cyber Intelligence Group (CIG) is seeking a Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst with demonstrated competence and drive to contribute toward the success of RBC’s intelligence-led cybersecurity and risk management.

Under direction of the Cyber Intelligence Group, the successful candidate will be accountable to triage and analyze cyber intelligence alerts based on data from various sources, including the Deep and Dark Web, social media, and other sources. The successful candidate will also be accountable to produce intelligence reports, maintain accurate metric documentations, and produce data-driven reports.  

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Triage, review, and action intelligence alerts and escalations following stakeholders’ requirements in the area of cyber-enabled fraud, social media, and third-party breaches.
• Produce intelligence reports/notifications related to third party breaches and provide tactical support to investigations when required.
• Create and deliver metrics and other data-driven reporting. Develop insights on existing and emerging cyber threat based on metrics.
• Produce intelligence reports based on external and internal reporting and support the development of new intelligence products.
• Provide threat assessments on social media-based cyber threats affecting RBC’s executives, brands and other strategic interests.
• Maintain and strengthen CIG’s partnership with both internal and external partners to enable the maturation of quality intelligence analysis and actionable data, and support the strategy to be an intelligence-led organization.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Security or related field, and 2+ year experience in investigations, intelligence, risk management, or similar roles.
• Exemplary analytical skills – strong attention to details, ability to analyze information from established and new sources, and identify patterns in data to derive a compelling conclusion.
• Ability to manage, prioritize, and execute with minimal direction or oversight in a high-pressure environment.
• Experienced with all aspects of the intelligence cycle and proven knowledge of typical adversary and intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Nice to have:

• Experienced in Deep and Dark Web investigations.
• Working knowledge of Python scripting language
