LBMX is the leading private marketplace provider for Buying Groups and Purchasing Co-operatives. These marketplaces are designed to electronically connect the members of buying groups with their supplier partners.

We are looking for an EDI Analyst to collaborate with clients in creating tailored solutions to move data files through LBMX’s EDI network, overseeing and coordinating project stakeholders throughout. A high level of computer competency is required but no experience in computer programming is necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred 
• 5+ years of test automation experience and in-depth knowledge of programming languages (Must have: Java/ Javascript; Nice to have: Python), frameworks, and utilities
• Experience with API testing (preferably using Postman)
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence decision making across stakeholders
• Effective organization, planning, and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work as part of a team and encourage both individual and collaborative innovation
• Positive and resilient personality - Able to embrace feedback and have a desire for continuous iteration and improvement

As part of the Global Finance & Risk Data, Modeling and Analytics team, you will work with our business partners and senior management to solve complex enterprise problems in data management, financial modeling, regulatory risk, analytics and technology integration.  You will have the opportunity to explore and leverage leading technologies to transforms data into actionable insights to drive business decisions.

The work pace is very dynamics, one week you will be leading performance management modeling workshops, the next week you might be coding applications in Java and SQL.  The following you might a key team member supporting our numerous large implementation projects.  This role will provide you the opportunity to learn and network with business partners across all the business lines and countries and may involve travel to all our global locations.

The Role

The ideal candidate will be working in an agile environment and will need a passion for continuous improvement. Firsthand experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science and data products will be beneficial. The incumbent will influence the technological solution in relationship to the architecture, design and development and leverage common components as part of delivering the design/solution. Provides an enterprise-wide perspective and input into IT decisions.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

• A recognized degree in engineering, computer science, math or related discipline
• Proven track record of managing large-scale software full stack and data engineering development projects.
• 5+ years of experience with at least one programming languages: Java/ Python/C++/JavaScript
• Experience with other database technology: MS SQL, Oracle
• Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, SAP) an asset
• Passionate about adapting new technologies to accelerate business value delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
