THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for a GPU System-on-a-Chip Verification Engineer who will be part of a team working on next generation of a complex GPU SOCs which include integration of GPU core, Multi-Media, Infinity Fabric, PCIE, etc. The successful candidate will play a key role in SOC verification performing the following duties for functional, power, and performance aspects with simulation and hardware emulation environment.

JOB SUMMARY


The Transit Fleet and Facilities Maintenance team provides safe, reliable, efficient, timely and cost-effective transit vehicle maintenance services to support federally regulated transit services within the City. The work involves planning, developing, managing, implementing, coordinating and monitoring transit vehicle maintenance activities; materials management and warranty activities; and engineering and technical support activities for vehicle maintenance, including reliability and quality process analysis.
 

You provide vehicle-related engineering and technical expertise to Transit Operations through analysis of issues, problem solving, research/development, life cycle analysis and teamwork on special projects.  You support other units within the branch, ensuring best practices, performance measurement, and client-focused service delivery models and designs, in order to maximize existing resources.
 

As one of multiple incumbents in this job, you may be required to perform any/all of the following duties:

  • providing engineering support including design sketches, drawings and work procedures;
  • providing engineering expertise in bus electronic hardware and software systems;
  • providing engineering expertise for the transit vehicle capital acquisition program;
  • providing engineering expertise regarding safety issues for transit vehicles;
  • providing engineering expertise and life cycle management for the Vehicle Refurbishment and Rebuild programs;
  • developing/implementing a Configuration Management Program for transit vehicles and developing/implementing approved modifications for transit vehicles;

In addition, you direct the implementation of project strategies, and manage project work, including the financial and human resources related to the project.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


Completion of 4 year university degree in Engineering, in either Mechanical Engineering or Electronics / Electrical Engineering, depending on the position
 

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of systems engineering for vehicles, including the analysis of data, specification development, manufacturing or project management

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES

You are responsible for providing reliability engineering expertise in specific areas, such as Mechanical/HVAC or Electrical/Instrumentation or Civil disciplines, relating to work involving either facilities or network assets.  You identify and resolve asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant, facility, linear systems or equipment operations, including condition assessment, failure elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management. You also contribute to the continuous improvement of asset/equipment reliability through sourcing condition assessment and maintenance best practices, providing training, and recommending preventive, predictive and basic equipment care practices.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced IAM Architecture and Engineering Director to join our organization. As the director, you will be responsible for providing direction, oversight and strategic management of Scotiabank's portfolio of global IAM solutions. The director is accountable for delivering complex solutions against IAM roadmap covering solution architecture & design, development & integration to ensure the utmost security and efficiency in access control. The director is also accountable for maintaining IAM systems to ensure systems resiliency and currency.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • You have 10+ years of experience architecting, developing, integrating, implementing and managing complex solutions and large IT teams.
  • You have proven experience of the IAM industry and expert understanding of IAM technologies including Virtual Directory Services (VDS), Single Sign-On (SSO), Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS) and Active Directory (AD) platforms, Identity and Access Governance (IAG), Identity Providers (IDP), Identity Provisioning, Adaptive / Biometric Authentication, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Cloud IAM.
  • You demonstrate strong knowledge of modern IAM protocols (such as SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM), and frameworks (such as FIDO 2.0).
  • You have working experience with DevOps pipelines and tools, and strong knowledge of SDLC (define, design, build, test and deploy) practices.
  • You have experience with program delivery including planning and estimation.
  • You possess excellent people leadership managing 20+ team members and advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills to deliver strong business-focused presentations. Spanish is an asset.
  • You have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • You have expertise in cybersecurity best practices and understanding of compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
