- Ensure that delivery meets the integrity, quality, performance and reliability requirements by building automated testing and regression suites and use of DevOps principles.
- You will be responsible for the design, architecture and final delivery of the solution with an emphasis on system scalability, availability and pragmatism. Hands-on coding is expected - active contribution to the code base as well as code reviews and walkthroughs.
- Focus on building out digital experiences for Capital Market systems using industry standard technologies and best practices.
- Write well designed testing suites for end-to-end testing of business flows.
- Incorporate modern technologies and practices to reduce operational cost and improve security, availability, reliability of overall business systems

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java and related framework i.e. (including Java 8 features -Function, Generics, Threads, Collections, Future, Java Frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, etc., Proficient in Server-side Java programming and understanding of Java Memory Model, Transaction management, parallel processing)
- Experience working with SQL/PL (Oracle) – 5+ years of hands-on experience
- 4+ years’ experience in developing, deploying and maintaining large scale applications with complex integration
- 3+ years of experience managing a team a team of Full-stack developers
- 2+ years of experience working with fluency on Linux environment with Linux command line
- Good understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns, micro services architecture and high performance, and multi-threading techniques
- Knowledge of Capital markets and financial instruments. Market risk or financial risk experience
- Experience with DevOps and continuous delivery and deployment methodologies based off bitbucket, Jenkins is a nice to have

- Detect, prevent and monitor fraudulent activity with respect to the Bank’s day-to-day banking products by:
- Analyzing alerts generated by various fraud detection tools and assessing the probability that fraud is occurring.
- Making decisions, based on the analysis completed, to block the account or reduce the limit on the card or to contact the cardholder to discuss the activity.
- Create detailed fraud claims cases and dispute cases for review and work by the Senior Fraud Analyst team

What You’ll Do:

Working collaboratively with CMG partners, BCS, Risk, IT and Front office businesses partners throughout the bank, to understand their requirements and relevant business processes in order to deliver change and ultimately improve client service.
What will you do?
- Maintain client and account level data in Capital Markets front and back office systems.
- Manage requests from multiple business areas; understand end to end process and trade flows.
- Be consistent, accurate and efficient in setting up, amending, cancelling and managing settlement instructions in the Front and Back Office system
- Ensure that all accounts are cross referenced into the supporting CMG repositories
- Use appropriate tools and exception management processes to ensure data quality.
- Management of data attributes related to regulatory data initiatives
- Proactively escalate issues as they arise and coordinate with the leadership team to ensure that we are able to manage expectations.
- Engagement with CMG globally regarding initiatives that relate to account management
- Review of CDR to source system reconciliations – perform root cause analysis
- Review of exception queues - perform root cause analysis
What you need to succeed?

- Graduate degree in Finance or Business preferred
- 1 - 2 years of previous experince
