About This Opportunity
The ASRS Mechanic will own the entire process related to the operation and maintenance of the ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval System) equipment including, but not limited to (racking, cranes, elevators, SVL’s, and all conveying systems). The ASRS Mechanic will also be responsible addressing any upset conditions, such as stuck or tipped pallets in the racking or on associated equipment as well as general housekeeping of the area and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Operation and maintenance of the ASRS and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment related to the ASRS.
- Collaborating closely with electricians on electrical tasks and providing assistance as needed for various electrical jobs.
- Perform documented regular preventative maintenance inspections on all mechanical equipment.
- Participate in scheduled parts counts.
- Maintain housekeeping of the ASRS area to GMP standards.
- Identify and report identified hazards and fulfill all Health & Safety, WHMIS, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) policy requirements.
- Work with others cooperatively, safely and in a structured and team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Journeymen Red Seal Millwright certification required.

A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Millwright is required.

Ability to read, interpret and update Electrical and Mechanical drawings / schematics is required.

Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques and procedures to maximize the reliability of the equipment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Must have the ability to work rotating shifts (12hr shifts rotating nights and days) and overtime when required to support a continuous operation.

Demonstrated ability to listen and follow instruction, with excellent attention to detail, while being adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment.

Electrical equipment knowledge - computer hardware and software, Proficient in utilizing a variety of computer software and applications.

Ability to work at heights, and successful completion of Fall Arrest training.

This is a full-time employee position working a shift of 12 hrs./day, 7 days on 7 days off; 42 hrs./week; Wednesday start (rotating nights); 2-week cycle

Depending on your place of residence and your shift rotation, bus and/or air transportation to/from site is offered from designated departure points in select locations

What you’ll do:
-
Responsible for operation of a process unit by ensuring activities are focused on safety, production, compliance, and aligned with business needs and priorities
-
Monitor process conditions and initiate troubleshooting activities for all abnormal operational events, taking corrective actions as necessary, escalates issues that require higher authority for input and resolution

Involved in the development and review of procedures

Complete and review e-Log entries
-
Conduct walk-arounds, participates in formal safety audits; LOTO, HSE audits

Perform regulatory compliance checks and reporting requirements
-
Contribute to a work environment that supports a motivated, productive team

Participate in cross-functional teams, support maintenance schedule by preparing equipment for scheduled work, supports commissioning and start-up of new equipment and processes
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

Legally Authorized to work in Canada

Minimum 4th class steam ticket
-
1+ years of SAGD Thermal Heavy Oil operations experience

As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.
For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A driver's abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidate.

About This Opportunity
Fleet Mechanics perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles according to DOT and OSHA regulations, with a specific focus on medium and heavy duty, diesel tractor and trailer maintenance and repair.
The Details:
This is a Full-time position that will start ASAP. Standard work week is 40 hours with the potential for overtime during our peak seasons.
Wage: $43.02
Premiums: Yes, Night & Weekend.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
Hours: 40 hours per week, overtime as required.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete repairs on all types of vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance within fleet department.
- Perform preventative maintenance in fleet.
- Respond to service calls.
- Maintain tools and area of work in an organized fashion.
- Pick up and deliver vehicles if required.
- Participate in and adhere to the required safety training.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 year’s work experience.
- Previous experience as a mechanic with light and heavy equipment required.
- 3+ years journeyman mechanic experience preferred.
- Experience repairing and diagnosing gasoline, diesel, and propane engines, automotive electrical systems and material handling equipment preferred.
- Successful applicant will be required to have a Class 1 Driver’s license or be suitable for Class 1 training.
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
- May be required to supply automotive hand toole (not including heavy duty or diagnostic tools).
- Knowledge of airbrake and electrical systems and components preferred.
- Experience operating Forklifts preferred.
