About this opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Measurement Maintenance Technician to join our Foster Creek Maintenance Team, reporting to the PDO & Offsite Measurement & E/I Coordinator. This role is responsible for the maintenance, calibration, verification, repair, and inspection of all regulatory, emissions, and accounting metering equipment.

 

Work Environment:

  • This is a full-time employee position working a shift of 12 hrs/day Wednesday - Tuesday rotation

  • Foster Creek has full-service camp facilities

  • Depending on your place of residence and your shift rotation, bus and/or air transportation to/from site is offered from designated departure points in select locations

What you’ll do:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, installation, inspection, and troubleshooting of instrumentation, control systems (CEMS, HIPPS, nuclear gauges, NORMS, SCADA), and remote field equipment, including observation wells at remote sites.

  • Ensure regulatory and process equipment compliance with applicable standards.

  • Maintain and update technical documentation and support documentation control processes.

  • Coordinate with engineering, planning, and scheduling to optimize maintenance and minimize downtime.

  • Manage third-party contractors and assist with inventory planning for tools, equipment, and spare parts.

  • Support work order processes from initiation to closure and maintain current equipment certifications.

  • Respond to after-hours callouts and uphold a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

 

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

  • High school diploma (Grade 12) minimum

  • Journeyman Instrumentation Technician with at least 5 years of SAGD experience

  • Additional certifications (e.g. Dual Electrical ticket, Radiation Safety Officer, Global or Sick Analyzer training) are considered assets

  • Thorough understanding of AER measurement and emissions directives, with proficiency in CMMS software (e.g., SAP).

What you’ll do: 

  • Perform piping and mechanical system design in accordance with specifications, codes, regulations and recommended practices (e.g. CSA Z662, ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1, B31.1 & B31.3) 

  • Fulfill functions described in corporate integrity programs, including approval of closure weld forms and sign-off of EPE installations and hot taps

  • Ensure accurate communication is maintained with the Calgary Fleet team, advancing all requests requiring their input or direction.

  • Maintain and manage the group's resource/staffing document, ensuring camp forecasts are promptly projected onto the INNfinity system. Perform audits and trouble-shooting analysis of the daily camp reports as required, confirming accuracy and details of staff.

  • Plan and coordinate meetings/events, including agenda preparation, itineraries, logistics such as video and teleconferencing set up, catering, etc. for ad-hoc, executive, special events and/or reoccurring meetings.

The Supply & Logistics Analyst position is a customer service operations role based in Calgary with primary responsibilities for volumetric supply and forecasting of crude oil and diluent transported within the Husky Midstream systems, business systems, industry, and internal reporting. The successful candidate will join the Husky Midstream Supply and Logistics group within the Customer Service Operations and Systems team. The group acts as fluid movement controller for the purpose of planning coordination and fulfilling physical and contractual fluid movements to ensure the right volumes are accounted for at the right location at the right time.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Model and track the flow of all physical fluid movements and manage the contractual transactions through HMGP’s gathering systems and terminals to meet all customer and fluid movement requirements

  •  Lead and report on all Midstream pipelines and terminals shipper positions to ensure balances and contracts are met

  • Generate month-end volumetric accounting reports for all shippers/all products

  • Quarterly volumetric reforecast, budget, and long-range planning

  • Manage capacity, utilization for system restriction, curtailment, or apportionment activities

  • Forecast and reconcile system balances

  • Administrate and update the customer QuickConnect portal

  • Liaison between shippers, connected facility operators, Husky Midstream field operations, Scheduling as required to manage gathering system throughput, shipper and connected facility requirements/issues

  • Develop analytics, contingency/strategy plans, participate in resolution and problem solving, employing an ability to react quickly and efficiently to system sensitivity

  • Manage volumetric forecast and resolve nomination issues (daily, Forms A/C, quarterly and budget)

  • Develop, operate, manage, and maintain integrity of applications/workbooks

  • Reporting and audit for Petroleum Registry, SOX, EPAP

  • Subject matter expert, administrator, and business tester for Integrated Pipeline System (IPS)

  • Participate in special projects as required

  • Customer, stakeholder and management communications (written & verbal) as required

  • Weekend/after core business hours availability (issue and deadline driven)
