How you will make contributions that matter:

 

  • Work closely with our key food service partners to promote and grow Saputo Sales;
  • Ability to build customer relationships and deliver results;
  • Maintain a high level of “Market Place” knowledge and actively seek out new sales opportunities;
  • Ensure all correspondence and reports are completed on time and in a thorough manner;
  • Prepare and conduct sales presentations.
  • Act as a resource and facilitator to resolve customer issues and coordinate with regional contacts;
  • Travel Required (daily and overnight within Ontario, equivalent to 1 or 2 nights per month);
  • Generate weekly and monthly customized sales plans
  • Analyze sales data and trends, and identify opportunities to convert to sales successes
  • Other duties and projects as required

 

 

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

 

  • A degree/diploma in Sales, Marketing or a related field
  • Two or more years of sales experience preferably in a Foodservice Sales environment.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with MS Office, advanced Excel skills, and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with solid financial and accounting competencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative

Your Responsibilities

 

Daily Cash Management North America

  • Reconciliation of daily cash positions against actual results and manage the resolution of any discrepancies
  • Analyze cash positions of all cash pools to determine funding needs and initiate cross funding
  • Manage cash through the co-ordination of information related to receipts, disbursements and bank position reporting
  • Strive to maintain minimal cash float balances
  • Ensure proper reporting & management of standalone cash balances

 

Cash Forecasting

  • Support cash forecasting processes and perform variance analysis
  • Continuously improve forecasting compliance & accuracy
  • Communicate with operating groups and divisions to understand all daily cash flows

 

Reporting

  • Produce monthly Global Cash Review
  • Perform monthly financial reporting and analysis related to global cash and bank indebtedness

The Coordinator will facilitate the work amongst Billing Administrators and provide specialized support to the team.  The Billing Coordinator will be focused on increasing invoice quality by analyzing reporting to identify problem areas and implement corrective action.  With continuous improvement always in mind, the Billing Coordinator will be responsible to review and implement process improvement initiatives.  Must understand customer invoice requirements and provide custom invoice solutions as required. 

 

How You’ll Help: 

  • Provide daily support to Billing Administrators to ensure all job functions are getting completed in adherence to the Business Service Level Agreements 
  • Perform Billing Administrator job functions when required to support getting task (s) completed 
  • Analyze processes to improve overall effectiveness of the team 
  • Input other types of Billing (contract probills) unrelated to shipment movement  
  • Investigate and create Customer Deals and Invoice Audit rules in AS400 to meet customer/business requirements and improve invoice accuracy 
  • Regular communication with all levels of the organization to provide consistent feedback of areas that need improvement in order to improve invoice quality 
  • Investigate reoccurring invoice issues to get to the root cause.  Work with all levels of the business, as well as external customers to implement sustainable solutions 
  • Analyze and understand customer invoice requirements; offer standard invoice options when applicable, focusing on electronic solutions  
  • Work closely with customers and Sales to provide approved non-standard invoice options including updating customer web portals to provide accurate invoice details 
  • Handle escalated issues from Billing Administrators within established guidelines  
  • Exhibit leadership at all times, be accessible and approachable to all Billing Team members 
  • Maintain positive customer relationships, both internally and externally 
  • Other related duties as may be required 

 

Your Skills & Experience: 

  • Minimum of secondary education, with preference of post-secondary education (general stream), or a combination of education and experience. 
  • Minimum one year experience in a Billing Department 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Computer skills – accuracy, MS products including strong Excel skills; AS400 experience, an asset. Must possess the ability to learn new software 
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and customer relationship skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, particularly numerical 
  • Detail orientated with the ability to work accurately in a high volume, fast-paced environment. 
  • English, other languages considered an asset 
  • Able to work with little supervision
