1. Ensure a high level of client service by:

  • Maintaining client files and information of the appropriate systems
  • Checking daily trades and all system entries in accounts for timelines and accuracy
  • Responding to client inquiries in a timely, responsive manner
  • Resolving issues and effecting client transactions expeditiously and accurately, escalating issues to Advisor when appropriate

  • Identifying opportunities to gather additional assets and/or increase revenue within the existing client base (i.e. referrals, consolidation of assets, insurance, etc…)
  • Developing, distributing and maintaining marketing materials
  • Organizing client events, including lunch & learns, seminars, client appreciation
  • Maintaining or co-ordinating electronic marketing
  • Managing the approval process for all marketing and mass communication

 

4Supporting the growth of the Advisor by:

  • Reviewing and reducing all restricted accounts
  • Managing the Bank referral process
  • Assisting in idea generation
  • Reviewing the daily commission reports and follow up on unpaid commissions
  • Tracking the Growth Bonus payments and follow up
  • Preparing, analyzing, and presenting reports and recommendations, financial plans/concepts, insurance, annual trading summary etc. to the Advisor for review
  • Providing recommendations for improvement to business processes, additional value to clients, and utilization of our Team of Experts

 

5. Contribute to the effective functioning of the branch team by:

  • Building effective working relationships across the team and with various business line and corporate function contacts
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Facilitating a culture of open and honest communication
  • Actively participating and contributing to touch bases and team meetings
  • Encouraging the generation of new ideas and approaches
  • Actively sharing knowledge and experience to enhance the development of all team members
  • Developing and executing a meaningful employee development plan

This team contributes to the overall success of the Global Finance and Risk Technology (GFRT). Ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. In this role you will: 

 

  • Manage and participate ‘hands-on’ in providing technical specifications and designs, developing detailed work-plans, scheduling technical resources, monitoring progress against plan and developing/maintaining programs according to standards.  The incumbent must ensure software, programs and applications developed and/or configured to meet high availability, integrity and reliability requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, advice and knowledge transfer to all development staff on all aspects of application development for assigned applications or technology. Provide recommendations on departmental standards surrounding systems architecture, application development, systems integration, data modelling, testing, as well as, performing reviews and walkthroughs of all major project deliverables to ensure the quality and completeness of functionality.

  • Implement new systems or enhancements by reviewing programs written by team members, establishing and executing system test procedures, developing implementation plans, developing the required program and system documentation and ensuring all functionality has been delivered as required. The incumbent is also required to provide post implementation support and training to the computer operations staff on the production processing functionality.
  • Maintain a good understanding of the Division's business strategies, business policies, financial instruments, risk management and backoffice processing.  In addition, the incumbent is required to provide leadership and specialized consultation in defining, planning and maintaining a strategy for the architecture, development and implementation of technology and systems within the Division to provide effective technical consulting and support services to the Division.
  • Ensure the department's objectives are met by assisting in recruiting qualified staff, providing input to performance appraisals on time and maintaining up to date knowledge of technology, industry and business practices.

  • 5+ years of design and implement highly interactive, scalable APIs

  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Expert knowledge of SQL server, SSRS, SSIS.

  • Processing client requests, account transfers, deposits, withdrawals and payments, requests for tax receipts and account reporting
  • Responding to client inquiries and issues in a timely, responsive manner and escalating to Advisor when appropriate

 

2. Provide administrative support by:

  • Processing client account documentation
  • Assisting in writing and processing clients’/prospects letters and proposals
  • Ordering marketing materials
  • Maintaining client files and information on the appropriate systems
  • Opening new accounts and processing new account documentation
  • Processing account transfer documentation and follow up to ensure receipt
  • Following up on outstanding documentation for restricted accounts
  • Ensuring all client interaction is accurately documented
  • Gathering deferred sales charge (DSC) information
  • Ensuring adherence of all regulatory rules as it relates to client accounts and related documentation
  • Following up with clients on missing documentation required as per the industry regulatory requirements
