We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Specialist with over ten years of professional experience in managing and optimizing global network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced understanding of network technologies, demonstrated by holding a Cisco CCNP certification or proven equivalent experience. This role requires expertise in global routing, LAN, wireless networking, and a deep understanding of network security protocols. The Network Specialist will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of complex global network solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across all network environments.

 

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:

 

  • Design, Implement, and Manage Global Networks: Develop and maintain robust global network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and wireless systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Routing and Switching: Configure and manage complex global routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and advanced switching technologies, ensuring efficient and secure data flow across the network
  • Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, Identity (ISE), VPNs, IPS systems, and other security technologies to protect the integrity and confidentiality of network data
  • Wireless Networking: Design, deploy, and manage wireless network solutions to ensure reliable connectivity and coverage across various global locations.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for network-related issues, working closely with other IT teams to resolve incidents efficiently. Manages the support process and escalations to ensure efficient resumption of operational processes when issues occur, including root cause analysis in response to critical incidents, to understand, document and plan remedial actions to prevent reoccurrence. Included in on-call after hour support rotation
  • Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor network performance and make necessary recommendations & adjustments to improve speed, reduce latency, and enhance overall user experience.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures, and provide regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and project progress.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to evaluate new technologies, negotiate contracts, and manage the implementation of network solutions.
  • Collaboration: Works with different teams including security, OT, etc, to deliver integrated change where appropriate, and to ensure that our network infrastructure is secure and robust end-to-end
  • Training and Mentoring: Mentor network team and provide training on best practices and new technologies to ensure a high level of expertise within the team.

 

 

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

 

  • Diploma in the field of Computer Science or equivalent
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on global network management.
  • Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification/experience is required
  • Proficiency in routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), LAN/WAN technologies, wireless networking, network security, and performance optimization.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
  • Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Experience in SD-WAN, VXLAN and Load balancer technologies and implementation.
  • Strong on process automation
  • Strong experience working with cybersecurity team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with packet tracer or analyser
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work beyond core business hours / on call, if necessary to minimize business interruption during planned or unplanned network/system modifications
  • Ability and availability to travel occasionally to our different sites if required
  • Available for on-call support in rotation

Reporting to the IT Senior Manager, the IT Coordinator will be working as an SAP Release Coordinator and will be supporting testing activities.   Working in a dynamic and high pace environment, the IT Coordinator will be part of large-scale SAP implementations, and support sustainment projects, and changes. The IT Coordinator will be responsible for SAP Releases and managing requests to the quality and production systems. This will include status reporting, audit, and governance.  The IT Coordinator will work with all levels of the business and IT and across all stakeholders to instruct and ensure adherence to testing guidelines and oversee inclusion of all requirements.

 

Key activities include:

  • Take ownership of coordinating major, minor releases, and unplanned changes, overseeing the entire release process from scope identification to production.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with releases, ensuring adherence to schedules and scope.
  • Host and lead daily Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, fostering open communication and collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate and report CAB discussions, reviewing and approving changes to Quality and Production systems.
  • Facilitate monthly release scope identification meetings with functional teams and leads, collaborating closely with the development team to identify and address potential risks.
  • Implement and maintain robust audit controls within Release Management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal processes.
  • Participate in initiatives for continuous improvement in the release management process.
  • Support internal stakeholders, promoting a culture of awareness and adherence to established procedures.
  • Supporting the team Test Lead with loading scripts in ALM, and managing minor test cycles including scoping, test coordination and managing to project deadlines.

 

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Bilingual English/French preferred - not a must.
  • Experience with testing in an SAP environment is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills, with an ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Intermediate in MS Office (ie Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Sharepoint.

Objective 

The main role of the Payroll Specialist is to support the RMX GMA concrete team in administrative tasks by bringing rigor and organization to the activities of the various departments. Manage the hourly payroll and benefits of unionized employees; ensure daily liaison to transmit employee issues. Perform routine accounting tasks and participate in security initiatives in the market.  


Main responsibilities

Security :

  • Serves as a role model for safety, environmental stewardship, leadership, teamwork and continuous improvement to ensure consistency of the company's vision and critical success factors.

 

Payroll-HR:    

  • Responsible for the bi-weekly payroll closing process for hourly employees.
  • Handles the hiring of temporary and permanent unionized employees.
  • Ensures the processing of terminations/terminations of contracts of temporary unionized employees.
  • Maintains personnel records (active workforce reports (absenteeism, overtime).
  • Submits requests in SAP for changes, hiring, layoff and termination, for hourly employees.
  • Works jointly with the union executive for the application and interpretation of the collective agreement.
  • Prepares and monitors CNESST and health insurance files.

 

Administration:

  • Creates purchase requisitions, tracks POs and processes invoices/bills of lading in conjunction with HR.  
  • Prepares manual invoices: union release, etc.
  • Acts as a replacement for the administrative assistants in accounts payable and training.


Relations with other positions:

  • Works closely with plant service representatives including the plant manager, department heads and supervisors
  • Collaborates with various departments, such as HR, finance, procurement, etc.

  • Annual production capacity of the plant: 550,000m3

Qualification profile

 

Education and work experience

  • Professional studies diploma (DEP) in administration and at least five years of professional experience in a similar work environment OR college diploma in administrative techniques and three years of professional experience
  • Experience in payroll service required and payroll experience for unionized employees would be a major asset.

 

Knowledge and skills

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint software  
  • Knowledge of SAP integrated management software systems would be an asset 
  • Sense of organization. 
  • Very good interpersonal skills.
