Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment, and assist with the maintenance and repair of medical equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform other duties related to personal care, supply and empty bedpans, take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and serve meal trays, feed patients, weigh, lift, turn, and position patients, and make beds and maintain patients’ rooms
- The candidates should be able to supervise patients’ exercise routines, administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas, maintain inventory of supplies, bathe, dress, and groom patients, assist with the setup and maintenance of traction equipment, cleaning or sterilizing equipment
- The candidates should be able to maintaining and repairing equipment, and assembling, setting up, and operating job-related equipment, answer call signals to determine patients’ needs, collect specimens, and administer first aid in emergency situations
