Overview of the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Millwright is responsible for the reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing and packaging equipment.

$43.70 per hour          

Relief schedule:

Schedule when not scheduled for shift coverage:

Monday – Friday : 8hrs 6:45- 15:15

Shift coverage:

12hr rotating days- 06:45- 18:45 – nights 18:45 – 06.45.  Shift pattern is  5days on 5 days off, 2days on 2days off.

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Carries out reactive, predictive and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
• Trouble shoots and repairs equipment in breakdown situations to minimize downtime
• Carries out equipment installations and modifications, repairing parts where necessary
• Work effectively in a processing environment without jeopardizing food safety
• Follows company policies and safety-first culture while continuously improving standards
• Works effectively and collaboratively with other trades groups to complete project assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager or assigned leadership designate.
• Excellent trouble shooting skills able to work collaboratively with all departments
• Highly motivated initiator, able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Effective communication skills, able to complete computer-based workorders

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

•     Millwright with a journeyperson ticket/license or certificate of qualification

•     Proven hands-on experience within food industry or high-speed packaging plant (preferred)

• Sanitary Stainless steel welding experience

•     Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience

•     4th class power engineering certification or Steam Boiler experience

•     Refrigeration and air handling systems experience

• Excited and willing to work night shift (7pm - 7am) including the availability for weekends

The sales representative, food service is responsible for existing customers and the development of potential customers,
while working closely with distributors.

Salary: $51 595 - $67 750

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Develop and increase our presence with new clients by working closely with distributors in the Montreal area and its surroundings

• Study and identify opportunities in the assigned territory with the department's managers according to the business plans established for the current fiscal year

• Identify development opportunities for existing clients while analyzing their needs

• Establish and maintain a strong relationship with existing and potential customers with service while making product presentations as needed

• Maximize sales objectives and the distribution of our products

• Prepare and conclude business proposals with clients targeted by the department's managers

• Attend various sales shows with the department's managers

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• A university degree in business administration or related disciplines or equivalent experience in a similar position

• 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, customer service and/or customer management

• Bilingualism (French and English) both written and spoken

• Knowledge of the Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word)

• Possess a high degree of autonomy and excellent agenda planning and priority opportunity management skills

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly organized, autonomous and accustomed to working in a dynamic environment while adapting easily to change

• Have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout the designated territory
