All jobs for shipper

Receive goods from vendors at warehouse.  Maintain organization of receiving and shipping area.  Ensure quality controls – temperature controls.

1. Receive product from vendors
2. Rotates product
3. Check temperature of frozen product and refrigerated products
4. Check bills of lading, invoices for accuracy
5. Prepares order for shipping – labels for distribution
6. Check for damage, quality
7. Organization of orders, - frozen, dry goods, refrigerated
8. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum High School preferable. Similar experience with documentation/record keeping,

Communication skills.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/TRAVEL:

Reading –High School

Writing – High School

Math – High School

Computer – N/A

Equipment – Fax machine for minimal ordering

Travel – N/A

PHYSICAL EFFORT/WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Very physical
• Heavy lifting/moving of goods
• In and out of cool temperatures (cooler/freezer)

DECISION MAKING/PROBLEM SOLVING/IMPACT:

Damaged goods returns.
