The Accounting/Reporting Manager II is responsible for the preparation and coordination of planning, reporting, cost control and client interface. This job provides support to all accounting and reporting functions including the accounting/reporting needs of BGIS staff members. Dollars per budget for the ARM II is greater than $10 Million, the square feet managed is over 5 million, and the number of buildings managed is over 100. 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

 Support the preparation & coordination of planning, reporting, cost control & client interface

  • Ensure diligence for work initiation & authorization, work implementation & control, inspection & documentation of completed work, & payment
  • Ensure data integrity through the management of data quality reviews & the implementation of data management processes
  • Support internal & external audit requirements
  • Support the collection revenues, maintain records of revenues for each portfolio & comply with the requirements of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) & associated federal Receipt & Deposit of Public Money Regulations, 1997 (SOR/98-128)
  • Provide additional support to the Portfolio Financial/Reporting Mgr. as required
  • Support the preparation & analysis of various financial reports

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 

  • Post-Secondary training in accounting and computer systems with five (5) to ten (10) years’ experience in a financial accounting position
  • University graduation or professional certification (e.g. P. Eng, CMA, CGA or equivalent courses)
  • Strong customer relation skills
  • Ability to lead and be a team player
  • Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

About the Role:

This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

What You’ll Do:

What You Will Be doing:

• Tailoring Solutions: You build rapport with customers to understand their needs and match them to Rogers and Fido brand products including Wireless, Cable, Hi-Speed Internet, Home Phone, and Rogers Mastercard  
• Sales:  Identifying opportunities, anticipating customer needs and achieving sales goals within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

• Representing the Brand: Representing Rogers and Fido brands in-store and at local community events.

 

Your Qualifications:

Manage backroom by organizing stock; identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels; evaluating and processing damaged product; re-packing product; organizing backroom materials (i.e., pallets, product shells etc.); We are the frontliner ambassadors, providing superior service to clients and consumers.

  • Territory: Grand Falls
  • Flexible schedule : 15 to 20 hours/week. Mostly between Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday subject to change according to business needs and peak season.
  • Wage: $17.50/hr + Mileage

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual or powered equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck).
  • Build, change or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space and securing damaged or defective product.
  • Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety
  • Manage backroom by organizing stock (product); identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels; evaluating and processing damaged product; re-packing product; organizing backroom materials (i.e., pallets, product shells etc.); completing any required paperwork
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.    
  • Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance
    • Consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head
    • Ability to push and pull manual equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
    • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Qualifications

  • Must be 17 years of age
  • Experience working in grocery, retail, warehousing or related field preferred
  • Experience working with manual pallet jacks preferred
  • Experience working under little to no supervision preferred
  • Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours
  • Must have current vehicle liability insurance
