Product Manager (Physical Product) Full-time Job

The Product Manager is responsible for the development, launch, and continuous growth of in menu products for HelloFresh. The Product Manager will be part of a team focused on optimization and testing to drive the customer experience and commercial performance of in-menu products in Canada. This includes menu expansion, surcharges, modularity, and more.

You will rely on your ability to be highly collaborative and cross-functional, working throughout the business with global teams (e.g. international product) and local teams (culinary, procurement, tech, production, marketing) in order to get the work done. Ultimately, you will be the voice of our home cook community in the organization.

  • Work with our data and tech teams to dive into insights and run a/b experiments to optimize the current product, identify opportunities and create business cases
  • Liaise with senior leadership to align on priorities for the product
  • Develop compelling annual roadmaps, gain local and global signoff, and then execute with local and global teams
  • Lead and manage each roadmap initiative through the full product life cycle for new and renewed in-menu products, working with various teams locally and globally
  • Work with the Culinary team to ensure we are delivering on our customers needs
  • Identify and implement continuous post-launch incremental improvement of insights, processes, approaches, and products to ensure CP and HF remain leaders and shapers of the Canadian Meal Kit market
  • All other duties, as assigned

  • Relevant university degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Math, Engineering or other related field of study
  • 5+ years’ experience within either a commercial FMCG role, such as brand / category management, a top tier consultancy, or an e-commerce environment
  • Outstanding project management skills, and the ability to keep multiple priorities moving forward at the same time
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to drive through product initiatives in a complex structure with global stakeholders
  • Confidence working with data to build business cases and make recommendations to the Canadian and global teams

The General Manager, Hamilton assumes the expanded leadership for the culture, engagement, and community initiatives for the entire facility to support our local bottler initiative. Based out of the Hamilton facility, local travel is required approximately 40% of the time for trade visits throughout the Market Unit at customer locations. 

Responsibilities

  • Builds and delivers Hamilton Market Unit strategies and manages a clear set of measurable objectives aligned with Coke Canada’s three-year growth strategy (Route 26)
  • Fosters an inclusive team and culture that delivers results through a growth and entrepreneurial mindset – “acts like an owner”
  • Manages a team of 5 direct reports and oversees the hiring, development planning, engagement, performance management and terminations within the Market Unit
  • Develops high performing and diverse teams, supports development programs & succession plans, and connects talent across all levels of the organization 
  • Builds relationships with local union leaders to ensure smooth business operations aligned with the collective agreement
  • Delivers results through full responsibility of the P&L for the Market Unit, collaborating with channel teams and lean center support functions as necessary to stay on plan  
  • Oversees and ensures implementation of consistent processes that enable organizational effectiveness to drive productivity
  • Enables the execution of Coke Canada’s commercial strategy by identifying marketplace opportunities, barriers, and threats, and leveraging cross-category insights to drive growth and defend share
  • Responsible for Market Unit forecasting accuracy 
  • Responsible for facility compliance standards and creates a safe environment for all employees
  • Builds strong relationships with key customers, suppliers and community partners that result in win-win solutions

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Supply Chain Management or another related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience managing in both unionized and non-unionized environments
  • Proven track record of large P&L management and advanced financial acumen
  • Evidence of developing and implementing industry-leading best practices
