What you will do:
- Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
- Deliver orders to customers’ facilities, construction sites other branches or warehouses using the most effective itinerary or assigned itinerary.
- Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy
- Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner
- Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment
- Liaise with freight companies and inside/outside customers to determine shipping priorities
- Responsible for transporting material to and from customer sites and other local locations.
- Obtain necessary shipping documentation related to the assigned route.
- Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule.
- Strap and/or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.
- Unload products according to the destination’s applicable rules.
- Responsible for obtaining a signature of acknowledgment of delivery.
- Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.
What you will bring:
- Previous warehouse experience required
- General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
- Valid G license required.
- Clean driver’s abstract is required. (No traffic tickets, no points, and no “at-fault” accidents within the last 3 years)
- Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
- Forklift certified or ability to be certified • WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset
- Knowledge of industry (Plumbing and or HVAC) products is an asset

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- The candidates should be able to clean and maintain office, supply area or warehouse
- The candidates should be able to set-up displays of retail parts and accessories
- The candidates should be able to perform general office duties, ship, deliver or pick up parts, products or equipment
- The candidates should be able to identify, label and catalogue items received, store items in warehouse, tool room or supply area
- The candidates should be able to issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use
- The candidates should be able to receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials
