The Account Manager III is a developmental role that involves job shadowing and working alongside and under the supervision of an experienced account manager. This role is designed to expose the associate to technical water treatment problem-solving and fundamentals to customer selling. In the role, the candidate will be assigned specific tasks on accounts within an existing territory to retain, per direction from manager and communicate with customer base as well as ChemTreat Account Managers and other representative of company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

With guidance, create, improve, and implement innovative sales strategies to drive ChemTreat’s position and increase share within the assigned geography.

Begin to develop key relationships with customers through the following methods: help to identify key decision makers within existing accounts, research prospects and partner with a senior staff member to cold call, frequent follow up, learn and start implementing strategic questioning, and with assistance drive to root issues to identify customers’ needs.

Work with senior staff member to begin to Increase sales and profit margin within the territory.

With assistance, engage technical staff and management as needed to develop retention and growth strategies.

Begin to establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.

GENERAL
- Responsible as the process owner and management of the free trade agreement process which includes, but is not limited to, solicitation, document review, supplier follow up, requests for customer FTA qualification, verification of, and providing customer FTA information in format required by customer
- Responsible as the process owner and management for customer requests for information related to customs and free trade agreements. Includes, but is not limited to, LVC statements, accumulated value statements, AALA analysis/completion, country of origin affidavits, manufacturer affidavits
- Provide technical and operational support to Group Corporate, division, and other internal Magna stakeholders. Internal stakeholders include, but are not limited to, Purchasing, Finance, Legal, Sales, R & D, Program Managers and Engineering.
- Support Magna cross functional teams and divisions with Duty Impact analysis to assist with sourcing decisions, customer quotes and landed cost calculations

- Support the Trade Compliance Manager in managing customs broker relationship and respond to broker’s requests for information on incoming shipments to obtain and provide critical information to broker to ensure highest levels of import entry compliance are met
- Facilitate post entry adjustments as necessary (refunds and corrections)
- Develop and maintain good working relationship with each division
- Responsible as the process owner and management of CARM and its corresponding processes. Process includes monitoring of the release prior to payment bond and ensuring timely payment of applicable duties and taxes to CBSA
- Monitor US CBP ACE monthly to ensure there are no Customs requests for information that may have been missed
- Work with Trade Compliance Manager to respond to customs requests for information and other customs or other government agency enforcement issues
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure that divisions are compliant with Canadian, Mexican and U.S. customs regulations, and that reasonable care and responsible supervision as it relates to transactions involving Canadian, Mexican, U.S. and international customs.

Workdays: Monday-Friday (can change with business needs)
Work Location: 31 Dussek St, Belleville, ON, K8N 5R9
Shift Start:9:00 - 5:15 PM(Flexibility with Start and Finish time required)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively.
- Learn and properly execute UPS safe and defensive driving methods.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
- Record, track, and maintain information about delivered packages.
- Comply with UPS appearance guidelines by wearing the company-provided vest and uniform.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in navigating and finding locations using maps, GPS devices, and map books
- Available to work Tuesday through Saturday/ and some Mondays
- Possession of a valid Ontario G driver’s license
- Clean Driver's Abstract confirming: A) No at-fault accidents within the last 3 years & no more than 2 violations for the previous 3 years period. B) No traffic violations within the last 12 months and 5 Demerit Points for the previous 3 years
- Strong customer service skills
COMPENSATION:
- HOURLY WAGE: $17.30
- Union Collective Agreement -$35.78 per hour after seniority plus 48 months of service.
