PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Assistant Trainmaster will support the efficient movement of traffic within the road territory and yard-terminal by developing, coordinating and ensuring the daily yard-terminal/road operating plan is completed in a safe and cost-effective manner.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Coordinate all train movements within the yard and mainline through active supervision of personnel and communication across departments ensuring compliance to Local Service Operating Plan and Operating Plan
- Coordinate and standardize processes related to operating plan, arrival, classification, building, inspecting and dispatching of trains
- Provide leadership accountability for inputs and outputs of safety, service, productivity and financial metrics
- Effectively lead Trains and Engines operating employees acting as a safety leader through active observations and discussions about rule compliance and by implementing preventative measures through staff engagement
- Occasionally operate trains; maintain certifications and licenses (Canadian Rail Operating Rules, Engineer, etc.) as per industry regulations
- Assist in crew transportation to and from trains
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous railway experience as a conductor and Locomotive engineer qualification is an asset
- 2 years’ previous supervisory experience in logistics or an operational environment is preferred
- Available to work all types of shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays in all weather conditions
- Leadership presence with the drive and commitment to career advancement
- Strong troubleshooting skills; ability to drill down to understand root cause and resolve complex issues
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing task priorities and work situations
- Excellent communication skills (provide clear and concise instructions/directions including over radio)

About this opportunity:

The group acts as fluid movement controller for the purpose of planning coordination and fulfilling physical and contractual fluid movements to ensure the right volumes are accounted for at the right location at the right time.
What you’ll do:

Model and track the flow of all physical fluid movements and manage the contractual transactions through HMGP’s gathering systems and terminals to meet all customer and fluid movement requirements

Lead and report on all Midstream pipelines and terminals shipper positions to ensure balances and contracts are met

Generate month-end volumetric accounting reports for all shippers/all products

Quarterly volumetric reforecast, budget, and long-range planning

How you will make contributions that matter:

About This Opportunity
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager, Coke Canada Bottling Driver Merchandisers (or Bulk Drivers) are responsible for delivery of pre-ordered product to assigned accounts, stocking, merchandising and rotating product. They are a critical part of the team that ensures Coke Canada Bottling products are readily available in stores, and play a crucial role in keeping beverage sections, end caps, racks, and displays brimming with refreshing options.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-ordered products to customers on assigned route using a Coke Canada Bottling fleet truck.
- Check accuracy and stability of truck load.
- Carry out an inspection of truck before departure and hitch the trailer.
- Offload products and bring into the customer’s location.
- Merchandise product into customer location as needed.
- Collect company property.
- Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
- Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck).
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
Qualifications
- Commercial License with Air (Class 1 or AZ) with no major violations over the last three (3) years.
- One (1) plus year of commercial driving experience.
- One to three years of general work experience.
- Local delivery experience preferred.
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without
- assistance.
- Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property its assets and personnel.

- Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.
- Conduct Video Reviews on request and document as needed.

- Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.

- Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client property and assets.
- Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have valid provincial Security Guard License
- Must have a valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Must have great verbal and written communication skills.
- 2-3 or more years of security experience (preferred)
- Ability to physically respond to all medical emergencies.
- Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
- Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office.
- Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols.
